GLENDI - A Klezmer tune with a Greek name - by Dave Tarras

This is another Klezmer “showcase” tune written by the late Dave Tarras. It’s very challenging because it is in the key of Bb minor, and it switches from the Ukrainian-Dorian mode to the parallel major key and back. So please forgive me for any errors. I hope you will enjoy it!

I'm very happy to here more of the repertoire of Dave Tarras. Your interpretations are excellent and very precise. Though I must say, I'm particularly fond of the button work here, the descending bass fits very nicely and is executed very smoothly. I find it so enticing that I am going to go try to copy it on my own accordion, I've been slowly learning new technique from your recordings! Thank you for the music!
