MSFS2024 | Career Mode | Cargo hook mission | Asobo H125

Today we take on the challenge of one of the cargo hook missions in career mode in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Returning a defect generator from an oil rig!
Still a few bugs around, trying to ditch those is almost as hard as getting this cargo hooked on the long line.
Oh, and I also attached an overlay of my flight controls as I do this mission. Flew in VR, wearing my comfort pants! You can't beat that!!

Skulle gjerne hatt et fungerende speil slik det brukes i den virkelige verden. Det hadde gjort alt en del enklere. Prøv å fokuser på et punkt fremfor deg og så juster høyden mens du holder maskinen på det punktet 👍

@ men må du justere pedalene heletiden så lenge du er borti gassen?! Såg ut som beina var temmelig rolige👍🏻😀 med meg endrer det seg med en gang så lenge jeg endrer på den. Roterer ja om du skjønner😂

@ Vel, det er mer inputs i lav hastighet. Det du gjør med pedalene i et helikopter er å motarbeide den roterende kraften som blir påført av rotoren. Det er ganske små bevegelser som må til, og holder du rimelig lik torque (collective) er pedalene mer i ro. Det er en «ballett» med alle kontroll aksene. Et input i en akse påvirker en annen akse (all kraft har en motkraft).

I'm actually really enjoying the career mode adventures. That we can still 'free flight' if we want to is perfect. I just wish different Xbox live users can log in on my copy to enjoy their own career mode using my setup.

Happy to hear it! Yeah, I don't use Xbox, but I would expect that to be possible... weird!

I wanted to do aerial construction so I tryed to score S in a hook mission but for me even when the cargo was dropped exactly on the H from the helipad I only got 67 percent

The mrirror needs to work.. otherwise complete useless.. Or a way to do VR effectively..

i'm finding these missions really difficult without that mirror, do you guys have any assists on to help hover or not?

@@Rspence_86No, no assists. I try to keep my hover in reference to a fixed spot on the oil rig or in the scenery, and then adjusting my altitude in that spot. Hope they fix the mirror!
