Crazily talented. Prodigies like him and Dimash only appear once in every few years. He's definitely one of the best singers and performers in Asia alongside Dimash and Sohyang. For years I thought Chinese singers were poor cousins of Taiwanese and Hong Kong singers in the Chinese music industry until I heard him and boy was I shocked. He's the most versatile artiste I have ever seen and he doesn't actually sing. He delivers a story on stage instead. Rap, rock, classical, opera, musical, acoustic, metal, he has done it all. There are only 3 singers in Asia who can wow me with every single performance: Hua Chenyu, Dimash and Sohyang. Never call him a singer. Hes an artist.

I first listened to Hua Chenyu in 2019. From the first audition I was captivated. I have never met such music in any other singer or composer. It is amazing and unique.
