Been there done this,but rewarding first day in the field. Check that shoe auger pan closely. I can’t remember if my 6620 or 9500 there were busching that would wear out and ya keep the concave set where ya wanted it. 😎
Nothing really looked that bad in there from what I could tell. But that's what it takes to keep a machine working like it should. Somehow I knew the blue wrench would be making an appearance!😆
@@DylanJoyceFarms Hate to hear that about your neighbors. Glad y'all missed out on that. I seen some pictures from Martin that was awful. We had some rough storms but other than power out and a few trees to clean up out of the fields nothing like what y'all got.

Worthington Ag Parts, passed by that yesterday headed down to the coast, in goldsboro NC. I hope to stop in there one day! Man that stuff had to be expensive, but a drop in the bucket compared to a new machine!! Hope it all went back together well!! Looking fwd to seeing more on this!! Great video. Do you leave the filler plates out for all crops? Would lining the shoe augers with 1/8 inch poly be an option. Saw a guy do that to his 4400. Maybe the 9400 metal is thicker.
Yes, I do leave the filler plates out for every crop. I like running them in corn, but it's so much trouble that I don't mess with putting them in. We run two sets of.concave inserts, though. We ended up buying new show augers and the pan.
Man just watching y’all pull all the excess trash out of the combine has me itching… and when you’re sweating your butt off it makes it all the more worse lol.

We did the same thing to our 9500 last year. It's a decent amount of work but not terrible. We used an epoxy paint on the grain pan.

A lot of hard work we changed our 7720 from rasp bars to spike we just planted beans.
I bet it would really eat the beans after that.

You guys need one if those one inch cordless impacts like what we have, it’d take those feeder house bolts out fast
What brand did you buy? We have a 1 inch air gun but hated to pull it out for just two bolts.

Those engineers design stuff that way because they know they will never have to work on them. Get it out the door.
The worst part of putting it back together is getting in a hurry and realizing you have to take it back apart lol
