This review matches my experience on this ride. A very pleasant experience gliding over the glittering water in a smoothly undulating route. Nice. But as a coaster compared to other coasters, nothing to speak of.
6:45 the snowman gives my review of this ride. Although it is a family coaster so it shouldn’t be too intense. Just go back an forth between Steel Eel and Texas Stingray
This rode looks truly underated, people hate on it for being a family coaster and being forceless but the thing about these family coasters, they don't need to be intense to be good. Intamin made something that everyone can enjoy no matter what age you are, you will get a kick out of it. Not intense but just fun and for a coaster, that's all you need, I also love how it goes over the water, it truly fits the theme.
I dont hate on it for being a family coaster I hate on it because it does nothing. This coaster is only here because sea world san Antonio didn't have a launch coaster. Slinky Dog dash is better for me. Also Ice breaker looks really cool even though that's a family coaster.
Having ridden Juvelen at Djurs Sommerland I would definately expect you to like that one more than Wave Breaker. Juvelen is longer, has more forceful turns and better pacing while having the same train and launch design. It feels like sea world wanted a much more graceful version of it.

I went in the opening year, and it had the longest line. In all my other visits, it has had the shortest line, as it's been the only coaster at the park to run 2 trains on my visits, so maybe I got lucky. Over Spring Break in early March, Great White's line took forever, mostly because of very extreme social distancing measures. Steel Eel was better, at about 15 minutes, while Wave Breaker was usually a walk-on, thanks to using every row on 2 trains.

Always wanted to get on this Intamin tire launch over a Premium launch? Whaaa? Premium has solid launches. I mean Mister Freeze is nuts. Tigris and clones are pretty punchy too. Never done tire launch though besides Hulk.

its funny you say no one talks about this ride but i’m hearing more about it than ever lately. its an Okay ride. not over or underrated just fine. 6 is a fair score.
With my experience I would sometimes want to ride wave breaker and it was closed. Luckily one time when it was closed and I waited 5 minutes and it was open and we were already first in line
@@warriorseamonkey1693 raptors are all locked up, muzzled, forced breeding. Theres references to a raptor show where trainers use tasers. Gave me a lot of blackfish vibes. The original book Jurassic Park made a point about animal cruelty and the morality of cloning for the sake of making creatures live in captivity. The good guys, dinosaurs, ultimately won.
The reason why wavebreaker has a higher height requirement is due to the design of the foot rests. If you've been on it you mightve noticed that above the hole where you put your feet has a little square flat space. Small kids even at 48 inches tend to put their feet up, which they are def not supposed to do. With the height requirement being 48 inch it significantly decreases the chances that a child will put up up feet. They are very strict with this because if a kid puts their feet up while the ride stops suddenly in a freak situation, they can potentially injure their legs.
A lot of motorbike coasters have the higher height limit, but it's still a bummer it needs to be that since the ride intensity is suitable for kids younger than that.
think this is a missed opportunity for the park I have no problem with it being a family coaster. Other intamin family coasters are really cool this was is just boring not even the water setting is cool the only thing good is the paint job and the trains so yea 5.1/10 for final score

I've had the opposite happen for me so maybe I've just been unlucky, but I'd rather the other rides have short waits myself.

Sometimes in the summer, particularly on saturdays, you can see Wave Breaker on 3 train operations! One train is common in the slower season.

I think a lot of people made it there recently for Stingray.
It amazes me how intamin gets a lot of hate but manages to fix other coaster manufacturers coaster trains and make their train more comfortable
Their motorbike style restraints are definitely better than Zamperla's.

This is a really good ride in my opinion great for the family but compared to Manta it’s not that great
I prefer Manta too.
