This video shows how to convert a bitmap (such as a jpeg) to a vector graphic using the Trace function in Coreldraw x5 Your Business Card Guy www.YourBusines...
I basically need to learn everything. I'm going to put this video on "vectorizing" to the test to see if I'm able to muddle through and change a pdf to a vector. I use CoredDraw X4. This is the only software I have ever used. I have no previous experience. This software came with a Roland Plotter that I purchased. Thanks for the response
thank you for your tutorial! I am new and I was trying so hard to figure how to use corel draw myself and your tutorial is really really really helpful. Thanks!
no idea. You best first bet would be to ask the company what formats they can work with. Corel can export in a bunch...the latest version is even better with some of the Adobe ones.
Help please! I have CorelDraw X5. And my vinyl cutter is a VinylExpress R-Series 2 Cutter that uses LXi. How do I make images in Corel so that they can be used with my cutter? Thanks!
Hey there, no Tacoma, WA. Sure could use a break from the rain though :-D What do you need most - How to do certain specific things or taking idea from customers and being able to create it from "scratch"? What design software have you used/background in design/art, etc?
Are you anywhere near Dallas Texas? I so need a class on CorelDraw. I own a t-shirt shop and I'm extremely limited to what I can do in the art aspect of the business because I don't know how to use Corel.
souad hosni Hey there, while you can convert individual elements of a drawing to a bitmap, it makes more sense to EXPORT the final design into a bitmap format such as TIF or JPG, etc. FILE--->EXPORT
Thank you so much for this! I searched all over the web and your instructions are the best!
Glad to hear it
This is one of the best videos I have seen about Corel. Thanks!

Not sure. After the Trace, did you "ungroup" everything so you can select the colors separately?
