- Let's see what's lurking under this huge saltwater bridge! Perdido Pass Bridge connects Florida to Alabama and spans over a very deep and fast moving channel! The tide water rushing by the bridge pylons create eddies for predator fish to sit and wait for bait to come by them. Barnacles and Oysters grow on the bridge pylons and this can be a very productive place to fish!

Maybe one day for Crappie!! :)
He does saltwater fish too!
Love the vids Bama Saltwater!! Much Love and Respect!!💪🙏🙌💯🎣
Hey, your videos really reignite my passion for fishing! The quality is top-notch, and they're genuinely enjoyable to watch. Your infectious enthusiasm and positive attitude make them a joy. The drone shots are a fantastic touch. Thanks a bunch for the hard work you pour into creating these videos! 👍😁👍
Thank you!! Happy New Year and God Bless !
Thank you BSW for just being you; an uplifting and respectful outdoors enthusiast! Watched lots and learned as much. God speed in your fishing endeavors.
Thankyou for the video.
Hello i love your videos you were the reason why i started fishing
Hey, I saw your shout-out on the local bait shop Facebook page. You're a local celeb now, congrats! - haha
Hi Steven always a good day when you post
First view and comment. Thanks for all you do. Love the videos. Happy New Year from Oklahoma!
Love the braid trick of threading the flouro loop in the hook! Genius
It definitely helps with those small Hook eyes for sure!
You were slaying em out there👍👍 I really liked that you took the time to show how you tie your rigs.
Thank ya!! I'm always happy to share! Tight Lines, Happy New Year, and God Bless!
Thanks for sharing your adventure again! Love the drone shot of the boat launch, and I love the editing on this one too!
Thank you!
Beautiful day. Nice fish. Thanks for taking us along.
Sweet action! 👍
Another win! What do you think about including information about how to hold the fish or what to look out for?
take a trip to Matagorda Bay in Texas a little bit underneath Texas City. Great flounder , bull redfish and Speckle trout they’re my biggest bull red was off jetty 46 1/2 inch on 20 pound test Abu Garcia with ugly stick...
Very good videos
I love your channel! Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Love your videos. Keep up the good work. ❤
Amen brother! Love your attitude. Would love to see you and angle up with Grant together. Like Bob Ross fishing!! I’d watch for days lol
Another excellent, fun to watch video. Thanks for taking us fishing...
Love your videos. I'll be moving down your way in June from PA.
Love the tip at the end to use the drop to secure the rig... Used that set up for a long time and it can make a mess. great idea!
Great Video! We just spent the first 3 days this week in your area! We did ok....The weather was not this nice and you couldn't find a Fiddler Crab in 20 miles. We also had some luck off Fort Morgan Wednesday at the rigs. This is the best channel for learning to saltwater fish. Lost Bay Tackle and Hooked Up were very helpful and provided some good information to us rookies. We'll be back soon. Keep making good wholesome family videos.
Awesome to hear!!! It can be tough this time of year depending on the weather!! Thank you! Happy New Year and God Bless!
My wife and I will be back down there in February. I'll be fishing off the Mobile Bay side.
I enjoy Gulf Coast fishing. Have you ever thought about doing a meat and great I think a lot of us would like to shake your hand. You have a very nice way about you.
Another great video!!
Another totally enjoyable video, but I am wondering why you don't employ fenders when you launch the boat.
My rub rail works just as good!! Thank ya !
Great video, Steven! Love the “Tackle Tips” portion! I love that you cover your setup and bait! Have a Happy New Year and Stay Safe, Blessed and Healthy!
thank you! I'm happy to help! Happy New Year and God Bless!
Yep, as always another great video bro! Awesome drone footage too. The water looks good right now.
👍🏻🤙🏻
Awesome videos. Great info. Watch your show every weekend!! Veterans!!
i just love this channel.
Papa and I would always fish in his little 8 foot bass buster and anything over a few pounds absolutely spun the boat lol
Thanks again man!!
Nice video big dawg!
Nice sheepshead and reds!!
Looks like it was a fantastic day.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video! The other day we went on a dolphin cruise down at the caribe marina and it was real fun. When we were boarding there was someone bottom fishing off the marina. Next to him were 4 or 5 huge sheepshead all in a pile. He then told me how it was a little slow down there but I was in shock because up in Virginia where I live, 5 nice sized fish are unheard of in saltwater fishing. Happy New Year!
Always watch your vids happy new years bud !!! What pound braid are you using to connect your 30 lb yozuri leader line bro need your exact set up lol that bg mq is amazing
Another good video!!
ty for another great vlog . god bless you and your family. happy new year
You talk about the freshwater sheeps sometimes. Come here to the Tennessee River and do a taste test.
that was a good one good content, goodfishin an darn good tech tips, stay safe an godbless!
Awesome!
Your videos are top notch. Helps me decide what's for dinner. My freezer says boiled shrimp and Red Snapper is in order for an afternoon thaw. Happy New Year! , and ROLL TIDE!!
Hard to beat that ! Tight lines, God Bless and RTR
Thanks brother! Good content as always. Happy new year 🎉
Steven looks like it's time to clean the bottom of the boat..looks dirty..love the content..where's the hunting video at?
IKR lol. I clean it very often and use instant hole cleaner but sometimes those backwoods creeks behind farms leave it nastay ! lol
Man I can’t wait to sit down and watch! Been wondering if you had been out there braving the cold
Yezzir, thank ya!!
Enjoyed.
If you’ve never made smoked bluefish dip, I’d highly recommend it. The bigger blues around 10-20 pounds start to not taste quite as good though
Thanks Bama! 😎👍
Happy New Year!
Another epic video, man! I'm so happy that you got yourself a drone as well; the footage is killer. I'm not sure if you've heard of it or not, but over here in Florida (especially around Sebastian Inlet), a lure called a 'Thumper Shrimp' is absolutely killing it. The 3" version is smacking multi-species left and right. I'd love to see you give it a try over in your waters. It's a silly looking bait, but super effective. Happy new year brother!
Another fishing tackle question. When to use pyramid sinkers, wedge or bank sinkers? Just curious of what you think?
PS you said come join you on the fishing trip, I immediately jump up, ran down to the dock and it was empty.....I miss another fishing trip .......... Love your video!!!!!
I like pyramid sinkers mainly for surf fishing in sandy bottom, bank sinkers for rocky and vertical fishing over structure. ! Tight lines, God Bless, and Happy New Year!
Happy New to you and you and your mom. Thank you for the reply.@@BamaSaltwater
Hey Steve, you should do a blooper reel. Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year’s
Great video bro as always !
Killin it bro. Thanks buddy cheers Ricky 👩🏻🦼💦🎣🐠🐈⬛🕺💃🎸🙏💦
Happy New Year I hope you continue to grow!
Great vid man. Saw drone footage in the beginning. Are you allowed to use drones to fish? Sorry if that’s a novice question lol.
Thanks and im sure you could but I don't find it as challenging or appealing to use the drone for finding fish. I like challenging myself and what ive learned. It gives an ethical and honest approach. But the drone does make for excellent footage!
Love your videos. I’m moving to North Carolina from California. Switching from fresh water to salt water. Wanted to know what rod and reel to get for surf fishing
Great video ! Hope the New Year brings you much luck to your family and channel.
M addicted to fishing, ima go this spring
My boy Capt Colby took me thru those waters
love your content man you are so positive! God bless man merry Christmas.
Dang good video my friend, thanks for sharing the information and instructions with us ✅💥
Looks like you got out on the last nice day before the cold hit.
Definitely , it was blowing hard and cold that day. I was suffering not wearing a jacket but the fishing was too good .
@@BamaSaltwater Good job ! I couldn't buy a sheepie all week or a redfish either. Hung up is all I could get at thebridge. Lol
Awesome can’t wait to get back there
I love these videos
Life vest. WooHoo!
Happy New Year to y'all brother!!
Nice fishing, Bama. Which Daiwa are you using? Keep up the good work. I especially love when mom comes along and outfits you lol.
Thanks!! I own the Daiwa BG MQ. It's excellent for the money
Happy new year😂
Beautiful fishing day❤️
Stephen we need to talk!!!! You keep throwing your live shrimp pets under a bridge, do you really expect your "mom" to keep buying you more pets???? 😻
I had 20 years of "if you don't volunteer, you'll be voluntold! Now, who wants to volunteer?"
Haha 100%, I learned real quick lol
i can’t even get up an go fresh water fishing i’m so lazy i don’t deserve to go salt water anymore but great video as always 🩶
Great video! All best for 2024!
W day when bama uploads
Grunts look very much like a freshwater fish from south America called GEOPHAGUS JUNIPARI ,they were very popular in aquarium's, by the way nice buck my Christian brother
Cool to see!! Thank you!! Tight lines and God Bless!
Nice cut
Like your videos and launching from boggy Point was wondering if you fish in the bay there
Grunts r fine eatin!
That they are!! Just like the saltwater Bream
My boat is almost ready. Mounting the power poles, trolling motor and Garmin unit. See ya out there!
Tight Lines!
Enjoyed your vids as always. Was wondering how much your boat weighs? Happy Holidays from Bama born in Texas.
Thanks , and about 3K lbs or so
When's the deer video coming out🎉?
Soon ! I gotta edit the footage!
perdido pass jetty?
I got new fishing gear for Christmas so ima check it out and play with it or wutev and c if I learn a few things or so
How do you like that boat winch thing? Thinking about getting one myself but scared the polyurethane pad will scratch the hull or mark it
Thanks!! It can Marr the finish sometimes but it's only superficial. A little bit of wax on the hull and you'll be solid
@@BamaSaltwater thanks bud, I'll be ordering it soon. Makes launching by yourself easier it seems
Nice video!
How did you solo launch. I hit rewind a few times and can’t seem to see how your boat didn’t float away
I use a quick release mount made by Drotto
My buddy Pierre in Pensacola can hook you up with some new cushion on the front of your center consul, let me know if interested i will fund it
Good to know! I've been meaning to get it reupholstered
What rod and reel do you use?
you should do a video with blue gabe or deer meat for dinner
Thank you for the info! I was able to tie a dropper rig with your setup, which means I can now tie a double drop rig for my surf fishing! What size circle hook are you using 1/0, 2/0, or bigger? What lb braid are you using?
I like 1/0 and 2/0 circle hooks for surf fishing and 15lb - 20lb braid mainly
What fishing reel is that ?
Do you do guided fishing trips?
Thank you watching !!!!
I do not currently run charters but I do have a few friends that run charter trips I can recommend:
1) Southern Sun Fishing Charters
(251) 714-3098
Capt. Charlie
2) Great Southern Fishing Charters
(256) 710-9028
Capt. Ben
3) Liquid Force Fishing Charters
(251) 233-5731
Capt. Colton
They are all excellent Captains. Best to call and find out availability.
Be sure to mention Bama Saltwater sent ya!
I go freshwater but rn is apparently the wrong time cuz the weather
Put your I Piolt in legacy mode, take it out of advanced, you won't have to worry about satellites again
Do you ever fish chunks of grunt.
A lot for big reds and blues!
that was awesome fishing 👍
I wanna fish with you!
Are there bullshark issues like they do in florida?
They are here but not as bad under the bridge . Definitely a lot of sharks come though this pass though!
