Hi I'm enjoying your long form content also have a look at the dicktator ecus made here in SA They start from about R2995 . Also you reminded me to add tyres to my project list 😂. Good luck with the opel
I'm glad to see this car getting some attention, I have history and a soft spot for that shape of kadette/Monza..... If you would like to drive it this decade, may I make some suggestions. 1.... Stop looking for issues... It took 30 years to rust that badly, it's not going to rust away in another 5 years, use those 5 years to try find a cub body that lived indoors. 2... Keep the body simple, plain colour, black small bumpers without spots etc (again, styling along cub lines) simple, clean and easy. 3.... Unless you have a particular motor in mind, try to get your hands on one of the old 2.0l 8v Monza motors...... They are surprisingly good and very simple and reliable. ... If you want to build a n/a fast car then a single performance cam will be cheaper than 2 ... If you want to build a turbo engine, the power/torque difference between 8v and 16v for a small to medium sized turbo build will be negligible. My humble opinion.... That car weighs very little.... 110-120kw with good torque from a bigger displacement motor will be epic.... 100% agree with the wideband management system install, even better if you can go sequential ignition and fueling with crank and cam angle sensors..... Very nice option to look at is the MS3x , iv built and installed one in my b5 1.8t, very good management system,... Check the specs out online.... Anyway enough of my dream cub build, looking forward to seeing where you take this project... Shot for the good content.

Dicktator ECU's are cheap for a reason, bud. Rather spend some extra coin and get a proper piece of kit.

Hi there great video
Absolutely the Opel content. What big brake setup are you gonna use?
I dont know, yet
@@Ruan_Loggiii Look for Saab 900ng or Saab 9-3 front brake calipers with Opel Meriva 280mm 4x100 discs
Im probably just going to a set of front brakes made up by Vari. I dont just want larger brakes. I also want better technology.
