Suddenly youre no longer following around a bunch of human warriors, but a band of highly trained and dangerous pig mercenaries on a quest. What is their goal? Wiping out the competition? Revenge? Saving the world from the stain themselves?? What a plotline dude, I'm actually invested. Wilbur and his two assassins is a band of adventurers I'm immediately interested in!!
honestly, the way Wilbur and Friends play with FULL STUN, is like how DD1 was, You just stun the fucker. Stun was king in DD1 and DD2 just showed us what they took from us
@@doomfishmain5154 thats why they make it so you couldnt chain stun reliably, even in DD1, but the impact of missing a single Action does take a huge tempo loss, which is one reason how Wagon Repair Fights seem harder than Node Fights, losing an action is losing a lot of tempo, which is why in DD2 the best way to gain Tempo is to straight up murder 1 dude asap.

It may not be as much but Wilbur moving forward to the front did give the skivers more room to fight and get out of danger, as well as the bleed Wilbur applied to put the child on death's door made it possible for a kill. But still, skiver MVP!
For something like this, I really feel like multiple fast forward takes should be used for something like this especially since its an Ai controlling the Pigs
The game is well designed for future mod support and most of the data can be changed and edited without breaking the game. It's just there is no workshop and official tools for modding yet. But they should come some day.

The swine started off really strong with the skivers chain-stunning and pushing the Child to deny Jaws of Life, but the two stacks of meat were definitely the MVP for the Plague Eater's side, with how they were able to keep forcing Wilbur to waste his turn.
Good stuff here, I thinks if you put 1 small Pig along with Wilbur, the small one will Mark a Target and Wilbur will crush it just like him with Swine King. I knew it because I got crushed on my run in Act 5 lol

You know, i hope Red Hook takes notice. This would actually be quite the fun PvP mode. Instead of another Butchers Circus (so DD1 wouldn`t be invalidated) you could pick one faction and attacking/defending from another faction controlled by another player.

Replace the JSON with the JSON of any enemy and it should replace the hero. How to find enemy json? When you fight someone, go to the recent save and at the end there will be json files of the enemies.

Love these type of interaction, I always wondered about the undead soldiers v.s the cultist as in DD2 they were suppose to stop them. Do you think you could do that sort of match-up?
There is a "combat.json" file, you replace control type from "input" to "random" or otherwise if you want to control enemies. All this may cause game freeze of some skills won't work properly against non-hero targets, you have to experiment for all this to work.

To be honest i can imagine them just having a taste of the flesh and want it, thus we reach this fight.
My bet is that they are raiding the farmstead for food for their tribe and stumbled on a particularly dangerous morsel in the main manor.

The area has growing giant stalks of rotting meat that hypnotize people into eating them. So most likely the Swine were lured in by the "food".
That's what I always like to think in my head whenever I add an enemy into my roster. Anyone can be capable of doing what the heroes do.

Holy crap I didn't even know you could do this kind of stuff by messing around with the save files. Impressive.
