One of the first Rotary mixers i've ever DJ'd on was a UREI 1620 . Something about the rotary mixing that sound quality is so much smoother and fuller than faders. The Euphonia is going to be a hit especially in the house, disco, techno DJ scene. This is a beast mixer not meant for beginners or open format quick mixing.. I can't wait to test it out!
Also great the the knobs behave very smart, with less resistance in quick movements and also the click/non click fx knob depending on the setting, super neat

Will I be able to trigger midi somehow via the USB C? A vital point for me or those that use Showkontrol to trigger lighting. The faders (as we know) can be midi assigned on the 900 NX2 and the such. I like the mixer but with the price tag it comes with I hope this basic feature was not overlooked. 🖥
I’m not knocking it (I don’t understand it enough to do that) but I don’t understand why in an era of digital music you’d add an analog component?? If it’s for those who play vinyl then fair enough but why demonstrate a pair ofCDJ 3000?
The reason is similar to why music that is created digitally is mixed and mastered with analog components. The Rupert Neve transformer not only compresses the audio but adds a subtle amount of harmonic saturation, a good type of distortion that adds character to the sound of any source. Doesn’t matter if you’re using a digital or analog device. The character helps glue the sound, especially when you’re in a transition.

Will it show which deck is live when the knobs are engaged?
Live deck feature is only on mixers with Pro DJ LINK like the DJM-A9 and DJM-V10.
