On the 4th of July, I had a heavy burden and sadness for the USA. A sense that we are in a time like in the old testament where an invading army was coming against Israel. In scripture, the good kings that regarded the Lord would call a sacred assembly for the citizens to humble themselves, fast, and seek the Lord in prayer that God would deliver them from the invading foes (and God was faithful to bring deliverance). I feel that is where we are in the spirit, where our leaders need to call for a sacred assembly, fasting, and prayer that we will not be overwhelmed by the enemy. That intense burden on the 4th did not lift until i spend time crying out to God in prayer and interceding for the USA and repenting for the nation for turning from God and a crying to Him to change hearts and draw His bride, the church, to repentance and draw all men women and children into encounter and understanding of God and His ways. For God to create a desire in our heart for Him again. It feels like there is a great urgency for us to seek the Lord like never before and stay in His presence and protection to help prepare for the days ahead. He will prepare and lead us through as we seek Him and trust Him. Come Lord Jesus! We need your presence and Your kingdom to come into our land and world! Joining you in prayer Tomi.

On the 4th of July, I had a heavy burden and sadness for the USA. A sense that we are in a time like in the old testament where an invading army was coming against Israel. In scripture, the good kings that regarded the Lord would call a sacred assembly for the citizens to humble themselves, fast, and seek the Lord in prayer that God would deliver them from the invading foes (and God was faithful to bring deliverance). I feel that is where we are in the spirit, where our leaders need to call for a sacred assembly, fasting, and prayer that we will not be overwhelmed by the enemy. That intense burden on the 4th did not lift until i spend time crying out to God in prayer and interceding for the USA and repenting for the nation for turning from God and a crying to Him to change hearts and draw His bride, the church, to repentance and draw all men women and children into encounter and understanding of God and His ways. For God to create a desire in our heart for Him again.
It feels like there is a great urgency for us to seek the Lord like never before and stay in His presence and protection to help prepare for the days ahead.
He will prepare and lead us through as we seek Him and trust Him. Come Lord Jesus! We need your presence and Your kingdom to come into our land and world! Joining you in prayer Tomi.
I generally do not sleep much but i am disturbed by Trump's VP pick of a Hindu - Christian and am worried about what this means for the White House.The Lord saved me from hindu idols and i am acutely aware of the oppression and mental anguish it brings.
I feel the same way about the vp pick and so do thousands of others.
