Yay! Oil Perfumery! I also find that they as you say, "develop as they settle." My experience is that they can't be the same because they're oil and not alcohol but, so they are "same...but different." But they are great for layering like you say. :) And they're SUPER in hair and in the diffuser etc. I don't understand Kilian yet. Working on it! It's so fun to watch someone experience the same thing that I've experienced. I'm so glad you like them! The Side Effect sounds lovely.
I'm glad I "revisited" the scents as the time passed during filming so as not to be too hasty in my judgment. I agree - they are the same but different. It's important for people to remember that that company says the scents are "inspired by" the original and never claim to be complete dupes. Helps to temper expectations! 💖💖💖

Love Oil Perfumery! I also use them somewhat as samples so if I really love one of them , I'll have an idea on whether or not to get the actual scent. I've heard many say that some of them are the same as the actual scents, like Vert Malachite and Rouge Malachite. Great way to get familiar with them.

I love layering tobacco vanille with bitter peach and also Lost Cherry- yum . It gives depth. I just love it for layering. Needs to be cold or cool out, though.

I had a pretty good experience with Oil Perfumery, but sometimes I find the projection to be low, as is the case with many oils. Sometimes even if the opening is off, the dry down is ok... overall the quality and value was pretty nice for what I spent. I will sometimes layer them under scents that I find under-performing and it does help anchor the fragrance. If you are into Tom Ford Tabacco Vanille and want something quite close that performs really well (better than the OG for me) I would recommend Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco. It is a little spicier in the opening, but the dry down is super close to TF, and it has nuclear projection and longevity.
You are so right - these help to "anchor" fragrances. I love almost anything Tom Ford (not all) and do own the Amber Oud series from Al Haramain. LOVE the Tobacco one. Love all three, really. Quite lovely. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰

I have been collecting these, too! My favorite right now is Intense Cafe. I also like Bitter Peach, Rolling in Love, Back in Black, Love don’t be shy, Golden Sands. I am disappointed in some of them, too, like Straight to Heaven really fell flat in my opinion. I could go on and on... I have a lot!

@@VeronicaSays that would be amazing! I’ve thought of doing some reviews, also. Mainly because I’ve spent so much money on ones I don’t end up liking, or I get too many and end up feeling overwhelmed and just set them aside as all the bottles look the same, etc. I just tried cafe rose after trying the real thing and was super disappointed especially since it was so well reviewed. I think it’s a good point that the oil base is different from an alcohol base especially for the killian boozy scents- they just aren’t going to be the same. I did think Apple Brandy was nice though. I wish I’d gotten Angel’s share instead of straight to heaven though. Straight to heaven falls flat. I also agree Feve Delicious is just a nothing fragrance. I’ve been wowed though, and fallen under the spell to the tune of several hundred dollars, lol. I guess I just really like variety and when I see all these reviews of great fragrances I want to try them but can’t afford the real thing!
Their Joe Malone Wood Sage and See Salt is really fantastic too. There are hits and misses for sure!

Hey beautiful! Rolling In Love doesn’t have a cherry note but it has almond. Sometimes it comes off cherry like. Rolling In Love and Straight To Heaven are sooo good. These oils sound amazing and I like the layering aspect. Great video! 💖🥰🤗🤗

Great video ❤️! I’m guilty to leave the roller ball in the back of the drawer too. But recently, I started purchasing a pack of spray decanter on Amazon and I pour all of my oils into a decanter spray bottle. It doesn’t get clogged and I’m more likely to wear it right out of the shower :)

I didn’t have a great experience with my oil perfumery fragrances. They smelled cheapy to me on the skin, but they bloomed when I put them in my room oil diffuser. They make amazing room fragrances but don’t translate on the skin well.

Its good with oil perfumery. Very decent. I prefer sprays so I use the oil as a base and spray with the Dossier impression of it.
Oil perfumery oils are definitely not all made equally - their Black Orchid impression is the strongest projection and lasting power among allll their oils I have tried. Goodness, I only need a tiiiiiny Dab on each arm with that one, or it’s too much for me. With a lot of the other oil perfumery impressions, I can draw squiggly lines with the rollerball on my skin lol, and it’s never too much, but Black Orchid? No damn way lol

They have a sister company called oakcha who makes dupe too ( extrait de parfum version) . From them I have sinful which is a dupe for Tom Ford lost cherry. I don’t like it at all . I also have cherry delight from be layered which is also a dupe for lost cherry. They both smell the same . So I think that their formulation is pretty similar to the real thing. I have sweven which is dupe for BR540 . It smells like intense version of cloud by Ariana Grande. It last a long time too.
I have heard of Oakcha but didn't realize it was a sister company. Kind of like Be Layered and Alexandria are sister companies! I love the original Lost Cherry - haven't tried any dupes. Too bad you don't like the dupes, but sounds like the BR540 dupe worked for you.
LOL Your personality shines in this. You'd've fit right in in a girls' day with Mom. I always found that oils developed as they warmed. I'd put them on, get dressed and then smell.

Hi Veronica, I highly recommend if you could possibly get oils/perfumes from these Arabian Gulf perfume houses, their products be it from the bottles to the juices to all what we expect and beyond at very affordable prices, basically (satisfaction guaranteed). Few of the names are: Junaid, Ajmal, AsgarAli, Abdul Samad Qurashi, Rasasi, Afnan, Anfas, Swiss Arabia, Yas, Alghabra, Al Jazirah. You will be pleasantly astonished.
Hello Fatima! Yes, I am a huge fan of these houses! I have perfumes and a few oils from Swiss Arabian, Ajmal, Rasasi, and Afnan and so far, they have not disappointed. Well, maybe one was "meh" but the rest have been incredible. What are some of your fave Arabian Gulf perfumes?

I have 2 from Oil perfumery.. Tobacco Vanilla and Spirituese Double Vanille..I have not smelled either original...That said, I like them both, but TV is beast mode and a bit to potent for me and layering with the SDV is a good idea, with more of the SDV...I keep the TV below the waist too and on clothing...Lasts for days.and projection is very good for me..
Awesome! I've actually started to wear most of my fragrance on my arms extremities instead of spraying my chest and neck. It works in terms of not going nose blind. 👍👍👍
I love santal 33 and I found a European dupe that smells identical. It’s called esenzzia 714! So I mix it with the oil perfumery and it last forever!

Can I ask you, does the African Leather oil smell like cardamom? I am interested in the fragrance but only because I hear it has a great cardamom note. If it is 95% leather, not sure I am interested in trying.
Hi there, thanks for watching! Regarding African Leather, the spices are all nicely blended into one - I wouldn't say that one is more noticeable than another. It is not overwhelmingly leather, but the leather is present.

From oil perfumery I have : coco mademoiselle. Lira. Grand soir . Spiritueuse double vanille. My favourite is grand soir . It’s smells sooo good and sexy and unique almost masculine on my skin. I feel like and alpha woman when I wear it and it last a loooong time too. The coco mademoiselle smells like some kind of high end soap. Lira smells delicious in the opening but the dry down smells like junoon noir by al haramain ( a toned down version) and doesn’t last very long. The spiritueuse double vanille smells like rotten chocolate in the opening. The dry down is more pleasant though , but nothing special. It’s my less favourite.
Not rotten chocolate?! 💀💀💀 Oh my goodness! Here's what's interesting - I sampled Spiritueuse Double Vanille (the original) and found it just okay. Nothing to write home about. So you liked Grand Soir? Good to know. Girl you have quite a collection, I am coming to learn. I see a TH-cam channel in your future. 😉😉😉

A year ago I bought Delinas and baca rage rouge 540 and wow smells identical and last hours and projected so amazing I want to buy initio I never smell the originals but I’ll get a chance to oil perfumery 😅

I do recommend Oakcha, the sister company..Although I never try the original fragrances, I have good experience with them. I have tried By the Fireplace and LOVED IT. Would repurchase..Yummy marshmallow cloud with a touch of smokiness..Very comforting scent..Extrait concentration and a little goes a long way .I find it gets better with age too...Let it really dry down before deciding..I usually wear on clothing...I also have dupe of angels share, it's called Heaven speak...I don't care for it at all..Non descript, meh, cheapy scent of spicy apple...Lasts long but not my cuppa tea..

I’m not familiar with this company I have to check them out but I have to use up some of what I have. the one I’ve tried are out of Florida I think, company named Fragrantbodyoilz. I have a few from them I love ❤️ their Mula Mula, the entire molecules line, lost cherry , virgin island water and dolce garden are amazing.
Ooooh you had me at molecules. I need to check that out. Similar to Escentric Molecules??? I would love to find more dupes of those because the prices are too much in my opinion.
@@VeronicaSays yes for the escentric molecules. It was TH-camr Eva Monroe who spoke about them she has a discount code too. Their MFK baccarat rouge, Tom Ford soliel blanc aand amouage sunshine woman are spot on., you don’t even have to where the perfume just the oil alone.
I looked them up thru you tube of others who purchased them good reviews. Check them out on TH-cam first. Oh they have smaller sizes too so you don’t have to commit to a large size. Love their Egyptian Musk.

Darn, I only bought 2 and both were cloying and un-wearable. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Jo Malone Salt one (?). Maybe in my hair might work.
Sea Salt and Sage? So sorry these didn't work for you! Some people use them as an essential oil or put it in their vacuum cleaner filters.

Wow that happens to be two of my favorite scents (next to Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka) to the point where I had to get me the spray bottle on both lol. Tobacco vanille - initially my family and I didn’t like it…at all!! Until three hours later. Once it dries down it smells SO good, especially on clothes.
As for Wood Sage and Salt, my family and I LOVE love love it & it’s rare that we like &/ dislike scents at the same time. In fact, th this past two days my husband started layering the oil and the spray.

That's a good question. I don't know the answer, but it would be worth a try! I know they can be layered under fragrances and mixed with lotions.
Hi Veronica! They are really good! I have the clone of Byredo Bal d'Afrique and Orchidee Vanille. Both are really nice and the price point if great! Nice video!
I need to get my nose on the Bal d'Afrique one. I tried a decant of the Byredo one. It was nice, but not for the price Byredo charges. 😳 Would love an oil or dupe option. I have a decant of the dupe from either Alexandria or Be Layered (can't remember which one off the top of my head) and liked that.

@@sooyunkim9799 The Dossier one is just about spot on. However, there was something in the Dossier formula that I am allergic to. The scent was lovely but since I had a bad allergic reaction to it, I had to send it back. Such a shame because that price point is great too! (I broke out in hives)

I don't think you're getting the true representation of what these smell like, and neither are we. You keep basically putting one on top of the other on the back of your hand. How can you tell which is which? You can't. That being said, what is the longevity of these oils? Should I just purchase a perfume instead?
It's a first impressions video, so keep that in mind - not a full wear. And I do say I need to continue to try them out. I kept them in a certain order to know which is which. Longevity is varied among them. Other people rave about these. They are worth sampling. Whether to purchase a full bottle of the real perfume depends what you're going for. If you would like something to layer underneath fragrances or would like a less expensive option, oils are a great way to get a general sense of a fragrance and you get to have the "base" product to layer with. If that doesn't appeal to you, go for the full bottle. Thanks for your comment!

I had a perfect oil once , but it was cheap, and it just slid all over the place (I put a little behind my ears and on my chest) and the oil got all over my clothes. And I couldn't even smell it longer than 1 hour. But like I said, it was REALLY cheap. So I was wondering how these are. Does the oil sink into the skin? If I put some on my neck and have an itch 1hr-2hrs later and scratch it am I going to get oil all over my fingers and smear the scent away?
@@i_bleed_makeup1187 on me, these do leave a light coat for about 30 mins but after that it just feels like my skin is super moisturized. I do really work them into my skin like I would lotion. I treat like lotion. If you are interested, maybe order one or two to start with and see what you think before you pay for a bunch that you might not like or that you end up thinking feel too greasy. The Oil Perfumery ones I find lighter in consistency than the ones from other companies; however, ultimately they are oils. 🤷♀️

Applying and testing the oils on your skin in such close proximity to one another, then sniffing?? I would imagine you are not getting true sniffs as the fragrances would be interfering with one another. Just my opinion. 😀
