Hi Fellas, Here is a short video of the scene when Hank meets Connor at Kamski house. There are four different dialogues when they meet which depend on what happened in the game previously. As someone who had Connor die in the news station on my first run, I can relate to all the emotion of shock that Hank is going through. Just replace the bitterness at the end with pure joy.
I kinda wish we could see Chris again later in the game, if he was spared by Markus of course. He was a good cop, and he was one of the few who didn't treat Connor like crap.
I love how clear the differences are between a Connor that's still wholly a machine and a Connor that is close to deviance. Just the use of Chris' first name shows the change in his personality
"Is Chris okay?" "I didnt know officer Miller well, but he seemed like a good person" "My predecessor was unfortunately destroyed" "I'm just a machine replacing another machine."
I spared him when I was playing on my own. But my boyfriend wanted to play and he chose the option where the other androids decided Chris's fate. He later got the scene where Chris was killed. I was so mad at him for allowing that.
You might already know this, but; every time Connor dies, his DNA stabilizes more and more. If he dies more than once, it's harder to become deviant if not impossible.
@@StealthTheFoxz I wouldn't say dna because Connor doesn't really have dna. When connor dies, some of his memories are lost along with his body, which means he also loses a bit of his deviancy. When his memories are transferred, his lost memories are then replaced with his instructions.

The Hostile Hank will always give me chills. Connor sounds so foreboding with his "In a way...". And his slowed, elongated "you shouldn't get emotional about it" that has him pausing to even fully close his mouth just feels almost villainous to me.
Really? I got the exact opposite impression you could say, nothing villanous about him, but more like.. just lost. Hard to put into words. Like he's somehow confused about what's happening and has some deep, subtle sense telling him everything is wrong but he keeps pushing forward blindly listening to his programming because he believes that's what he's supposed to do. Kinda like our rational, conscious mind nudges us in a defined direction while our much subtler gut feeling has its own agenda. And the result is you're basically torn (to a degree) between the two and you don't know why; you think what you're doing is right and yet it just _feels_ wrong. That's how I always perceived this "machine" Connor that kept dying and deliberately choosing the machine path, especially towards the end. He truly believed he was right in doing so, yet _knew_ it was wrong all along deep down somewhere, he just didn't want to confront this feeling. Thus his "lost" vibe he's giving me. Pure speculation ofc lol, to each their own interpretation.
If someone you cared about died in your arms and came back you’d be pissed off too. Not because they came back, but because you still have the haunting memory
I love how similar the story yet so different sounds when Hank tells Connor about his friend who got shot or spared. It's such a small yet huge and believable difference.
Idk why but Connor just standing there with a blank expression as Hank pulls up looks so funny. It's almost menacing. And the way he doesn't move or speak until Hank gets out and is like "Wtf" makes it so much better.
@@289rory You never truly decide what happens in the story, like in the first game chopping lee's arm off or keeping it makes absolutely no difference. Or letting lily stay vs kicking her out, yet again. No difference

@@floriansteininger347 Because you went through the trauma of losing them once. If they return, it means you watch them die a second time. Or, in Connor's case, possibly multiple times. In Hank's case, watching Connor die over and over and come back is like a slap in the face because his son didn't get that chance. And given how he feels towards Connor, subconsciously adopting him as his son of sorts, watching him die over and over is enough to drive him to suicide because it keeps bringing back memories of his dead son. If you love someone, you know that death is the end. To bring someone back, to desire them to return, is ultimately a selfish act that backfires. You'll see them die again. And if not, they'll see YOU die, which means you're hurting them because you couldn't accept the pain of their death. You need to cherish every moment you get with someone special to you, so when they die you get to look back and say "Yeah, those were good times".
