+Drea Velia Hell yeah, just saw Suffocation here in FL about a month or so ago, he and whole band were awesome. Boyer player at least half the show in kind of a bent over position, looked like he was in a trance kind of. Good shit.
This is by far, my most favorite death metal performance uploaded in TH-cam. The intensity of the crowd and the ferocity of the band's performance feed off each other.
@@Elitetiger27 depends. A lot of bigger hardcore/punk/metal festivals have barriers, but Will have like small stages without barriers for this exact reason. At least in Belgium it's like that. Don't crowdsurf/Stagedive on bigger stages, do it on the smaller ones.
@ 4:52 Bill(vocals) signals to the security dude to back the fuck off and let the crowd dive. Respect! This is why I will never stop loving true metal. It's a brother/sister hood. We are one in metal..
The crew member was pushing the dude to stagedive already, he likely didnt mean anything bad by it. The video is from Obscene Extreme you see, where the crew is chill and ppeople kinda do what they wanna do.
This video puts a smile on my face. Such a great performance, accompanied by amazing energy and fans. Everyone is having a blast. At first glance, the average person would think this is chaos, a bunch of satan worshipers and what not. As a fellow metalhead, I see a group of individuals coming together to share in an awesome and fun experience.
4:52 This guy is a total gentleman, with the kid as well as the security guard, it was a very kind gesture.. by the way, according to The Metal Archives: "Bill Robinson has lived homeless voluntarily for over 20 years, living off the land and growing his own weed".
This is by far the best suffocation live i ever seen with dave culross on drums makes it even more badass...and bill robinson did a great job in this show...yeahhhhhh
The more I watch other Suffo vids with the more recent replacement, the more I think this singer (Bill Robinson, I think) does an excellent job. Yes, we all love Frank and he can't be replaced. But this guy connects with the crowd and gives it everything he's got, he ain't fucking skating.
At least this is still a great lineup of Suffo... Guy Marchais on guitar and Dave Culross on drums. As cool as Terrance and Derek are, I don't know if I'd go see Suffo on tour now. But this would've been awesome
My favorite 2 songs from them, with one of my favorite vocalists ever as a stand-in? Fuck yeah! Still haven't seen Decrepit Birth live yet, hope they haven't given up on new material.
It's really too bad that Frank can't tour all over the place. Apparently he doesn't have the money to do full touring, and has a full time job that he really can't take long periods of time away from.
Frank has an intensity in his vocals that i miss in any situation he's not signing with the band how ever i do enjoy Bill of Decrepit Birth and john of Dying Fetus.
I cant stand those knee bender hang your guitar way down on the floor guys. it is just as stupid as it looks. that shit is for trend-core slam bands. just stand there and play your bass dude. stop putting on an act and let the music speak for itself. because this music certainly needs no hype. the compositions are great as it is
Oh believe me my friend I don't care what other people do. I just happened to be signed into google one day and thought I would agree with this guy because it's something I always thought was funny and stupid, and you don't here people talking about it a lot.
In this music there floats a kind of mist suitable for dreams and gentle drifts. A climate of rediscovered peace that we sometimes feel without knowing exactly why during certain summer nights! these artists build a discourse of interiority, of breathing, which knows how to make room for silence¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No security, No VIP zones, just people enjoying and having fun. When the music is most important than the artists.
What music ?????
Dat cause this is real art performance.
@@MegaCirse what do you mean?
@@MegaCirse oh no
@@MegaCirse du Brutal death metal. Pour les initiers seulement
I dream of being elected President of the United States and then having Suffocation play a concert on the front lawn.
You have my vote already
lol
polyrhythmatics Every morning? That would be awesome.
polyrhythmatics Every morning? That would be awesome.
Dream of something decent
I could literally watch Derek Boyer play bass all day...
+Drea Velia Hell yeah, just saw Suffocation here in FL about a month or so ago, he and whole band were awesome. Boyer player at least half the show in kind of a bent over position, looked like he was in a trance kind of. Good shit.
Oh yes, I have seen Suffo many times! Boyer is amazing to watch... Suffocation is one of the best!
+Drea Velia I bet he wanted to play contrabass as a kid, but his parents never gave him a one
+AnthraxiA He started playing like this when he once went on tour with a broken leg and used his bass as kind of a crutch.
+Drea Velia Agree completely. He has so much style
This is by far, my most favorite death metal performance uploaded in TH-cam. The intensity of the crowd and the ferocity of the band's performance feed off each other.
That crowd was weak
You should look up Devourment Choking On Bile live 2016. The crowd is going FUCKING INSANE.
The Entombed OEF video is pretty special
But the winner is always Naplam Desth at OEF 2013
Agreed 100%. Amazing performance!
i liked it when the singer stopped the security from pushing a fan on the stage at 4:49
Think absoulutly the same.
Peace
It's because Bill Robinson is a fucking freedom God. Omnipotent being that resides in the frequencies of brutality.
Me either..
@@cplineberger yeah you can see the security dude headbang as well

I could watch Suffocation every night until I die and it would never get boring, the level of energy they bring is intense!
Bill Robinson takes Suffocation to another level!!!
Perfect Match!!!
The riff change at 0:55 gives me chills every time, scratches a very specific itch even if I heard it over a thousand times

Yup. Metal is like a family of fellow outsiders, we take care of each other.
No shit Sherlock. That's what it's always been about. You're just now realizing this?

Amazing performance and crowd were in full swing!
It’s sick how the security guards were completely into the music 🤘🤘
Awesome show. Bill Robinson did a great job on vocals.
Terrence Hobbs is a fucking guitar master!!
For a second I thought it was Chris Barnes. Thank you for your comment sir
It's like a Tsunami of sound taking over the crowd! Beautiful!!!!

I once traded a bag of weed to Bill for a Decrepit Birth shirt at one of their shows back in the day.
I've always liked how Frank clearly pronounces his words so you know what he says
This has to be one of the best death metal performances on TH-cam. They are still as hungry as they were 30 years ago. 🤘🏻
Suffocation never fails. I was banging my head during the entire show.
This is incredibly well shot and edited. So much more and engaging and immersive than most concert vids.
one of the best performance of this band!
Underrated singer
what an amazing performance of Derek Boyer grgrrg !!!
Ah yes. I listen to this on my way to church....
lol
+Shane B (Crete23) hypocrist
Crete23 not me,it's not heavy enough.
halelujah
Why you go to church?
My favorite absolutely favorite performance and crowd ever ! This is the dream my idea of Nirvana
Suffocation is incomplete without Frank!
leonardo silva Deicide without Hoffman brothers are not worthy anymore, I think they can survive Glen
Agreed, but Bill does a better job filling his shoes then any other dude I've seen do live vocals for them.

at least they found an awesome vocalist(Decrepit birth), who fits in
*mike smith
Suffocation is legit heavy metal. The crowd knows it. That's some genuine headbangage
Guy's tone is beyond sick on this. Really fills out the mix.
6:36 that's some brutal headbanging
Real
so fu*kin brutal my favorite band🍺
Best live performance on YT.
The sound of the bass guitar if out of this world.
This is such a kick ass live clip of Suffocation!
Bill is a BEAST
Great suffocation .
magnificent performance! This is metal with attitude and soul.
This is the best crowd i have ever seen
My favorite 2 songs from them, with one of my favorite vocalists ever as a stand-in? Fuck yeah! Still haven't seen Decrepit Birth live yet, hope they haven't given up on new material.
got to admit, it is some brutal vocals
The solo of that first song is sweet as hell \m/
Amazing show...Suffocation kickin ass as always!
The vocalist of decrepit did just fine in this performance...
Saw Decrepit Birth and Suffocation at summer slaughter(the last good death metal line up). Took a pic with Bill R. And Derek B.
Good times
If you're an older metal dude and you haven't gone bald you've got to feel like such a champ...
Having a grandpa with a full head of hair kinda makes you feel lucky when you're a metalhead.
my fiends , you are very good in slovakia Košice.. thank you for you death metal..
brutal! I think Frank is getting tired of this industry, but this vocalist does the job very well!
sorry for frank, but the best for me
I wish every metal crowd was like this...
Ultimate Kudo's to Extreme Media, fucking hell!!!....best Suffocation footage i've ever seen, and the sound mix is superb!!!
The best of the beats 😍🤗👌 soffocation

Hail Suffocation!
Oldskul yet the groove and slam riff used til' this day and future.

Dear Suffo, Please please please write a tablature book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just get guitar pro ton of good tabs available but unfortunately Terences lead work not tabbed proper sigh...
E pensar que ja peguei um show desses caras aqui no interior da bahia \,,,/
Guy used to be in Internal Bleeding. Another awesome NYDM band.
Why can't metal shows in the United States be like this?
No Frank but still heavy as fuck! Thank you youtube and ObsceneExtremeFest!!! This is my crack!
I love what the singer does at 4.50!!!!!!
Две любимые вещи этой команды.
It's really too bad that Frank can't tour all over the place. Apparently he doesn't have the money to do full touring, and has a full time job that he really can't take long periods of time away from.
Are U his attorney or something??
can we just appreciate bam margera on right hand side guitar?
That’s Guy Marchase. Legend .
Hell yeah
Both of them is wonderful growl vocalist!
Siapapun drumernya tetap saya suka!!!

hahaha, that guard at 2:11 deserves a medal
big ups to oef for staffing the friendliest security
I remember seeing these guys walking around Glasgow, had absolutely no idea who they were.

Bill Robinson from DECREPIT BIRTH did a great job on vocals!
Oef the best crowd in the world
i like at 4.53 when he pushes away the bouncer from a guy on the stage and gives him the metal horns..
Fuck yeah obscene extreme looks like so much fun!
7:19 holy shit!
7:31 You know things are intense when you get Jason Voorhees in the crowd.
Pure energy!!!
+markee k You're right! I also seen Suffocation play at a place called Pure Energy in the 90's.
tohle je nářez!!
Please Share the Full Concert!
Just a shame Frank couldn't be there himself. I saw Suffocation live in the same tour at Stonehenge Fest.
THAT BASS IS OUT OF THIS WORLD
IS THAT BILL FROM DECREPIT BIRTH!??! FUCK YEAH
i cant get over that bassist. i used to play just like that. i legit makes frets 1-5 so much easier to hit.
