Currently pregnant and can't stand perfume but a video is always welcome to me as an alternative and to keep my love for perfume alive until I give birth. ❤️
Yes! Another video about scents that aren't talked about. I love it! I need to get my nose on Bastide Lavande in Love, sounds amazing. Thanks for such an awesome video. :))
Since you like twisted, I would recommend Miu Miu L’eau Blue! It has notes of lily of the valley and honeysuckle. Such a beautiful summer scent and lasts so long!
Hi my name is Christian O, and I think your content and thumbnails are amazing, I appreciate all you have done, I have been watching you since 2020, here and there, but now, you'r just awesome, nice to meet you. Peace & Love.
You're the second fragrance reviewer that I watch who recommends Levant... So happy to hear it is like Fleur Narcotique which is one I plan to get soon... but I always though it smelled too high end to be worn on a daily basis. I'll try to get a sample of Levant to compare.
I've been wearing L'Eau par Kenzo for 20+ years, I love it and always need it in my collection 💙💚 it was expensive when it was newer and hard to get hold of in my area!
The Kenzo made a long, hot and humid summer much better. Glad it's getting some love on your channel and in the comment section. WSSS is longer lasting for you with the body cream? Sweet. Since it's so popular, is a video about dupes, including the one from DUA, possible? Great video - thanks, gorgeous girl!💟
Comme Une Evidence more or less against my will became my signature office scent. It's usually not the scent category I'm personally drawn to and I was initially not wowed by it. I think it came for free with an order I did with YR and I just decided to wear it occasionally at work. I've never gotten so many compliments at work for a fragrance. On me it's very fresh floral and projects like mad. I frequently heard like "Oh, it smells like springtime in here." or "Is is someone's bday? It smells like somebody brought in a bouquet of flowers." Fun fact though, a colleague of mine bought it too after smelling it on me and it somewhat didn't gel with her skin chemistry the same way, and one day she handed me her bottle with a sigh saying "It just doesn't smell the same on me. At least when you wear it I'll be able to smell it every day." Really underrated gem, but needs to be tested on the skin to know what it'll really be like on you.
Love comme une Evidence, haven't had it in years but will have to revisit. I feel its in the same vibe as chanel eau tendre but with better performance.
Wow great personal story. I totally understand. Some fragrances that I’ve ordered samples after hearing ranting and raving from TH-camrs… totally not for me. For example: Scherzo by Miller Harris (I thought I made that fragrance smell like dead flowers 😭)…. And also BABYCAT! Omg it does smell good but just not good enough for me or on me. BABYCAT is pretty on me but not alluring/seductive/exotic… on me it’s vanilla and honey. I’m in my 30s and don’t need to smell like a teenager or grandma.
It might be the lily of the valley or patchouli that's not working with some peoples' skin chemistry. I've worn it on and off since it's release (2003/2004?). Such a beautiful, effortless scent that suits many moods and personalities. Not sure how many young people would like it today, but it seems pretty timeless to me.
Love this video idea Yanna! Would love to see more - both niche and affordable. Comme une Evidence was one of my mom's signature scents and she was definitely a very kind soul, so it fit her very well! I recently discovered Guerlain Flora Salvaggia and am surprised its not getting more love. It's one of their Aqua Allegoria fragrances and is such a pretty, watery violet. It's so refreshing for summer.
I'll have to try that one from their Aqua Allegoria collection. It looks like something I'd enjoy!. I just got a sample of their new Nerolia Vetiver and surprisingly love it!
@@TheScented I got a sample of Nerolia Vetiver and like it at first sniff, but haven't yet given it a proper wear. I'll have to give it a better try tomorrow. I also enjoy Bergamote Calabria from that line. I like a few of Aqua Allegorias for an easy summer reach, almost like a high end body spray.
Ooooooh "comme une évidence"! yes ! By far the best Yves Rocher, not too much of anything (not powdery to my nose) but not cheap smelling, very lovely easy to wear "pink" full floral, perfect to meet future in-laws for example. Nice girl scent, the teacher evocation describes it well :) . Loved it on a friend, loved it on me for a few years ;) .I don't know about Canada, but here I never buy Yves Rocher full price (I like some of their fragrance mists too), there's a 50% discount at the moment on the french site ;). Dioramour is also one I liked a lot, although I think in Dior's private range I'd go for "jasmin des anges" (although it's shorter lasting :/). Thank you for this review Yana, love the topic, a lot of those sound really good ! My criminally underated fragrance would be "Azemour les orangers" from Parfum d'Empire, addictive intense citrus based modern chypre. The whole brand is not talked enough to my opinion, amazing value for the price... the problem might be worldwide distribution I guess :/
Great vid, I definitely need to try Levant and look into The Gate Paris, it sounds very interesting. There are many ways you could go about creating similar videos (sorting the scents by occasion, notes, vibes) but probably the best would be a cheapies underrated perfumes and if you have more suggestions, maybe a 'luxury/ high end' separate one.
Oh and for my underrated scents, Tom Ford Noir pour femme it's for sure no1. In fact so underrated that it's discontinued. One of the best TFs imo, gorgeous bottle, I don't understand how it wasn't a top seller, so sad.
I’m new to your channel, and glad to have found you! I really enjoyed your five must have scents, and this one was just as interesting - perfumes I have never even heard of!
Wow! I definitely want to try them all...Levant is on my wishlist for sure! Really have to try The Gate Paris Fragrances 💕. Thank you ❤️ NB: So glad that you liked Lavande in love 🥰
What a fine video idea and well done. I had only heard of Levant by Ormond Jayne which is a beauty and I am sampling right now! Which is the name of the vanilla-lavender you chose to accompany the first offering to make a splendid mélange?
Now these are really underrated. Comme un evidence is seriously underrated. I love the Lily of the valley in it. I used to wear it so much when I was living in France. In fact I still have some vintage Yves Rocher fragrances that are never talked about!
I also discovered a old perfume that I didn't know excited. My daughter is loving one of them too. The company is Tommy Bahama. I love St.Kitts and my daughter loves St. Barts and Island Life.
Thank you for your insight on underrated houses. Would love to see more dupe videos. Are you aware of Dapper Fragrances? I love that dupe house. $25 shipping to Canada is the only downfall. Oh, and their website could use an update. As long as they are keeping their fragrances reasonable, which they are; I don't mind a less-than-stellar website. Alexandria is the most expensive for their shipping costs.
Hi Yana, I so enjoy your channel!! Because of your review, I purchased my first bottle of Levant, Ormonde Jayne, at Twisted Lily. I love it! I want to repurchase, and everyone is out of stock. Do you have any suggestions?!?
Have you ever tried Mugler Cologne Fly Away? It sounds really interesting and that it would either be really nice or really bad! Run Free sounds like a nice scent!
I recently got a Levant sample because I liked the idea of Fleur Narcotique but not the price or longevity. I’m not someone who likes citrus in fragrances so the opening of Levant was way too sharp for me, but once it dried down in like 20 mins - GAME OVER💕❤️ my bf sitting across the room could not stop sniffing. I could not sniffing. Need the largest bottle asap
These are actually fragrances not talked about. I'm so sick of people talking about the same fragrances over and over. That's why I stopped watching perfume videos. Everyone talks about the same thing.
Or to imperial faberge same notes as one you would know , it was only carried at Neiman Marcus almost 15 years ago , has a gold faberge egg for the top
Thank you - just ordered the Bastide sample from your site! I know you get a ton of comments, but in the off chance you see this one, Goutal's Mandragore is my all time favorite, and go figure, it's discontinued! I can't seem to find a good dupe. Any ideas?
I would love a review of Al haramain. I cant get to smell them but i really want to buy one online an if i wathch your reviews im pretty shure you can guide me. Just dont want all about citrus fragance. Thanks!
Hello. Most complimented fragrance for me are Ivanka Trump and Acqua Neroli by Clean. Totally blind buy. They both smell 100% different from each other. No regrets. Ivanka is more long lasting but both are unique, soft, clean and elegant. Amazing price.
I'll have to check the Ivanka Trump fragrance! I love Acqua Neroli from Clean Reserve as well; it's especially beautiful when layered with their Skin fragrance 🥰
Is the Kenzo you are referencing the male or female version? On Fragrantica the notes you mentioned are listed on the male version, the female version lists different notes. I have no aversion to wearing male marketed scents and wear several, but i want to purchase the correct one. I know Fragrantica doesnt always get it right.
Really interesting content! Will definitely try one of these soon. By the way Yana, have you ever thought of shooting a fragrance video in Russian? I'd really like to hear you in your native language! Keep up the great content ❤️👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻
Or rather Idole smells like comme une evidence, as the latter came out way before Idole. But I agree! First time I smelled Idole I immediately thought of comme une evidence, so I didn't buy it since I didn't need both.
Currently pregnant and can't stand perfume but a video is always welcome to me as an alternative and to keep my love for perfume alive until I give birth. ❤️
Honestly, I always wondered why nobody talks about Kenzo L'eau!! It is such a lovely and affordable perfume!! Thanks for mentioning it.
Yes! Another video about scents that aren't talked about. I love it! I need to get my nose on Bastide Lavande in Love, sounds amazing. Thanks for such an awesome video. :))
I love L'Eau par Kenzo♥️, glad you mentioned it. My favourite underrated fragrance is Cerutti 1881. Very feminine and affordable🥰
Hello :-)
How long it lasts ?? Is projection good?
@@Fragrance_FreakHi🙂It's not strong and it' s not very long lasting. But for that price, you can't go wrong. It is a very pleasant scent🙂
@@Fragrance_Freak On me, it lasts very long, not sure about projection. It is so beautiful, that I don;'t care, although I usually do :)
I'll have to check out Cerutti next 🥰 thanks for the recommendation!
So glad to see someone else who loves Cerruti 1881! I've got to find another bottle of that!
A fragrance that I absolutely love that no one talks about, is Romance by Ralph Lauren. Very under appreciated!
Very clean. Nice choice.

Hi Yana, great video. A video about underrated cheapies would be great
Kenzo L’Eau Par is my college signature scent. Oh my I can still remember how nice and long lasting this is on me ♥️
I loved what you said about Comme une Evidence. My grandma wore it in her 60s, she was a primary school teacher.

I love montale roses musk. To me that one is just soooo feminine without being sweet or old smelling. If u hvnt smelt it u need to!
I feel like CK Euphoria is never brought up anymore. But it's a great winter fragrance with excellent longevity, not too sweet either.

Yes please! More of this please. Why is Tom Ford so expensive? More expensive than. Chanel boutique scents
Yeah Tom Ford is severely overpriced. There are only a few of them that I actually find outstanding
