I would get silver, but I hear it has no PVD coating and thus scratches easily. And that it feels weird in the hand (apparently you have to wait until oils do something to it, like a reaction. At first it’ll just feel like aluminum.

Do you think 256 gb is suffficient? How much of space is usable in this.. and does photos consume large space compared to iphone xs max?
I think it’s sufficient especially if you don’t take a lot of 4K photos or especially 4K videos.
I have thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos and still have 130 gbs of storage left 256 is good unless you do a whole lot of 8k videos and maximum usage

people have been saying if you use your back camera on a app like snapchat or tiktok the back camera starts to shake and make noise. i’ve saw more than one person complain about this problem. i recently just ordered the iphone 14 pro max and i’m not sure if i should cancel the shipping due to this problem. you should probably check this problem out and let all of us know if it happens.

Silver was better than gold?
Silver scratches easier, so to me it’s not as good. Purple is too dark, so is black. So for me, gold is ideal (though I do find gold stuff tacky af).
Silver deffo looks the best. Gold looks like something a council estate person with front missing teeth would rock
