Personally I love the modern apple gold it’s much less saturated than the older generations. Now the gold has more of a settle honey milk vibe which I love!
The back glass is champagne colour lol
Last time I had a different color was the 11 Pro Max in Midnight Green, loved that color. Skipped the 12 series and grabbed the 13 Pro Max, even though my favorite color is blue I got Gold. Now a year later I’m sitting here with another Gold 14 Pro Max. I think Gold has grown on me, it pairs well with Navy blue cases and looks especially suave with leather cases.

This gold trim around this phone is unbelievable. Don’t regret it at all. All golddddd everything.
I got gold because the purple just didn’t “pop” enough for me, I tend to like more saturation. I do love the gold camera rims too.
The light color stove top cameras are kinda ugly tho and makes the cameras stick out like a sore thumb.

Always wanted the clean cut white phone. I’m going with that. The purple didn’t pop, and quite frankly after 3 gold phones I’m sick of gold. Can’t wait for the change.
Gold looks great on these phone especially with black wallpapers or screen. It’s a fantastic combo.

This year apple let you “pre” set your pre order before hand on the app. I was in, checked out within 4 minutes of pre-orders going live. It was actually the best pre order experience I had in a few years. 256 space black 14 pro max.

When the case is on, no matter what color the phone is lol. I use pitaka pro case on my 13 pro, offer great protection but not bulky, that's why i like their case!
Originally had a space black 14 Pro Max but returned it and got a gold one. I really like it, and gold is low key becoming my favorite color

@@Jaydenzephyr Yeah same thought here. I have a gold 14 pro max. It’s okay. I just wish it was more gold instead of tan/beige and also wish the side trims were more gold instead of silver (literally looks silver in 99% of lightnings, a very subtle gold color is there). I think it’s okay though, you kind of grow to like the gold color. It had personality.
At first, I regretted getting gold because I looked at the space black and was like “Wow I wish I got that because it actually looks nicer” but then I realized space black doesn’t really have much personality and you might get bored of it over time.
@@subzero8344 yeah I really love the gold sides and camera bump. I’ve really grown to like how it looks no matter what, but when the light hits it at the right angle it looks fantastic. I particularly like it when the back reflects the off white/light beige
I was torn between the purple and the gold. I got the purple but sometimes I wish I went with gold. I feel like color combing with cases is a lot easier especially paired with a tan or brown leather MagSafe wallet.

Nice one man. I enjoyed the format of this video where you showed the waiting first - helped to build the anticipation. When that music kicked in and you were heading for the keys, I just knew something was about to happen. Look forward to your full review - although I’m thinking by the time you post it I will have either nixed the idea or placed my order - the current wait time with Amazon (my retailer of choice at the moment) is 1-4 weeks!

I picked Gold this year. I hate Purple, my wife got Silver and i didn't want the same color as her. I've always gotten every single Apple device in Space Grey, so i wanted to switch it up. I think it looks great, its not too yellow.. Very subtle... I do have a case on it so all i mostly see is the camera bump. I would have got Alpine Green had it been an option this year for the 14 Pro. I always use cases with my iPhone, so i slapped on a Mous Limitless 5 Leather case on it and it really looks good!
I got purple this year. If my husband got the purple (he got space black) then I would have stuck with gold.
Yeah man I decided to switch it up this year and got gold. I always get whatever version of black apple releases.
One thing I’ve noticed about the gold iPhone when using a case for a long period of time is they don’t show the dust in the camera bump like the black one always did. I used to always have to remove the black iPhone out of the case and remove the dust specs or whatever else from in between the camera lenses. I still like black, but gold has its advantages also.
It’s a soft gold and I dig it.

The first thing I do is drop my new iPhone into an Otter Box case. I’ve never broken an iPhone since the very beginning. To be honest, I wouldn’t swear that Otter made a case for the first iPhone but it was in a case of some kind. I couldn’t care less what color the phone is and usually pick the least popular because it is available longer on release day.
I’m watching this on my purple iPhone 14 😈love the quality it’s surreal and the voice command makes using this phone effortless definitely give big props to app for this one on top of all of that having air pods is just the cherry on top 😂
I was able to get the Pro Max in purple and I love the color. It matches my iPad Mini. I wasn’t too particular about color. My main concern was getting the Pro Max in 512GB.

I almost pulled the trigger on a new iPhone 14 pro max. When I searched it up I could only find a 1tb gold phone. So glad I was not in need of a phone. I will wait for your reviews to see if they talk me into a new 14. 😂🤣😎

I have the 14 pro in purple but you can literally never see the purple colour unless in direct sunlight so it always looks black. Planning on waiting to see what the 15 looks like and then possibly getting that or maybe just the 14 pro max in gold if I don’t like the 15

Space black is basically space gray. You have to put it under a microscope to spot the difference. I used to go Pro Max but I use my iPad mini a lot and since there is no difference these days between the pro max and the pro, other than size, the pro has my preference.

@@peacegratitude2501 hi! Sorry I don’t have a purple one myself but most of my friends does. For me, gold still prevails by far because you can dress it up and down and also, the purple doesn’t look as catchy as the gold IMO. Resale value I have no idea at the moment, sorry.
I usually get gold, but this time I got purple. I actually got it on the 19th and my husband got the space black and he got it on the 16th. Maybe I will get gold next year. I wanted to be different this year and I figured I would try with purple.
Great video I really enjoyed watching it! I upgraded from the 12 pro max to the 14 pro in deep purple 256gb and I love it. I love pro motion and the smaller size.
When I had Samsung before I switched back to iPhone I loved having an always on display so I’m loving that here. Also dynamic island is fun and interactive in a subtle way.

I got the silver this time because it’s nice and neutral and looks great all the time. Got gold last year and didn’t end up liking it
It was either silver or gold for me as the silver does look so clean with the white back glass! I chose gold though I love the gold bezels around the camera lenses! 😍
Silver is more durable though as it doesn’t have the coloured/painted over stainless steel housing like the rest it’s just straight up polished stainless steel.

IPhone X gold was the best gold color, I just got a iPhone 13 pro in gold, pretty disappointed on the color, it’s like an off white matte
I like gold bling styles, but I will need to see this in store, contrasted with the deep purple to really decide. I think the silver might be too sharp and highlighted.

Purple is a proper finger print magnet even on the back glass. It’s silver or gold for me they look the cleanest. I got gold lol

I got the 14 pro in black from my carrier they only had 1 gold and 1 black in stock and a few 14’s unfortunately I got 128gb was wanting 512 but I pulled the chord and bought it

the gold color since the iphone 8 has just not been hitting for me, the white color that comes with the silver is too bright which is just not it either, and the purple is so dark and muted i cant even really tell it’s purple most of the time. so space black is the color that won me lmao

More like White with Gold Pearl pigments.. With a light gold band around it... So color means nothing if you stuff it in a case.

First time viewer here. Absolutely insane that you dont like gold iPhones…… its been the absolute best color choice in every iPhone where gold was an option besides during the 6/6s/7 era (that gold sucked). With the 13 Pro and 14 Pro, the Gold color is the best color option ever offered on an iPhone. Crazy to me when people dont like it! The only other color options i’ve really loved were silver on the X and Xs, and the mint green on the base iPhone 12. Otherwise, gold is S tier.
Haha yeah it's such a subjective thing. It doesn't really matter that much to me though since I do keep my phone in a case 24/7.

Patrick, I was able to set up the pre-order before the pre-order date and then I got an email reminding me at 0800 the next day so I didn't have any issue getting the gray as it was already on hold. I have had the same thing happen because the Apple site can't handle it.
