I had difficulty sleeping and it lead to severe migraines. Started drinking lemon balm green tea before bed and it changed my life . I will suggest it to anyone who’s having sleep issues.
I paired lemon balm and rosemary in the same pot this year. They were both new plants and both have exploded. They like being together and now I know why. Your videos calm me and are so informative. Thank you.
Thank you for bringing us knowledge to better living. I start to take care of my health because of you and how passionately you promote simple, fun ways to do that.
Thankyou ! Last year I grew lemon balm but didnt know what to do with it! But it had a wonderful smell! Im glad it grew on its own this year, now i know how to use it.
I'm so frustrated with the drought we're having in central Florida, I was just going to let it die. But now I'm putting on my garden shoes, heading out to pot up the lemon balm and rosemary. Thank you for this info.
I keep mine in a large pot that can be brought in during bad weather and the winter. Learned my lesson last year - took over almost my entire herb bed :).
Super. Concerning free radical, there is a very common plant that is very powerfull : stinking nettle. I mix lemon balm with nettle (because it grows a lot in my garden).
Thanks for your videos, very beneficial and easy to understand. A friend gave me lemon balm and I planted it two yrs ago and never used it even once coz i didn’t know the benefits and keep saying will research but forget, that explains why I need to start using it.
ty for this video, i've been growing lemon balm for a few months now, i have already have experienced the natural benifits as i use it daily as a tea, i use lemone balm and mint tea and sweeten it with organic honey, it's interesting but good flavour, also your pretty easy to watch as your so pretty just saying, it makes it easy to watch your videos, ty for your help with this and previous videos
I love your TH-cam presentations. A few days ago started red cabbage and beets fermenting. Looks like it is working fine. Started seeing bubbles and the juice began to overflow. Thanks. P.S. Also, watched your presentation from corporate to nature. I would never say your age as you have mentioned. I thought you were about 30, if not less!
Assuming one is growing it themself and not spraying it with chemicals, there's no need to wash it before drying. Anytime once the leaves are green and full is ok to harvest. Spring to early summer I suppose would be most optimum since the leaves are at their richest.
Hello,. What a wonderful lady/person you are. I found you on TH-cam this evening. Made my day/evening. Started watching (1st video, was with the sauerkraut). Big green cabbage. It made me lol the size of it. Then you said it was from your garden wow! Interested in sauerkraut. As came to knowledge about its probiotic benefit. After watching,. And enjoying the way you was talking. The sound of your voice, mannerisms. Ora,. How serine n calm you come across. I found more videos. Once I watched your story. From city life to country. That was mind blowing. So interesting. Well done for finding your dream n perusing it. Will watch plenty more videos. As I have subscribed. I live in England. I thank you for all videos in advance,,,. I know they will all be interesting n enjoyable. Bless you!
Great ideas! I can’t seem to find information on if you should wash it straight from the garden… When I wash things like basil, it does not dehydrate very well… I also consider that I have disrupted the oils
I found this looking for a preserved lemons, but couldn't find one. Could you show how to ferment preserved lemons? (BTW I'm really enjoying the red cabbage sauerkraut from your recipe - Thanks!)
Stress makes you lose trace minerals and magnesium. Lemon balm has minerals too but my herb mineral book doesn’t have the specs for this one. The essential oil of this is so pricy for some reason.
She explained the hypothyroid in this video, although I need to watch it one or 2 more times to truly get what she means. Looks like use it with caution - especially if condition is severe...
Yes, though it’s taste may be better when combined with fruit, (especially apple), and other herbs, such as lavender or lemon balm. Don’t forget sage is an Excellent herb for cooking as well! 🤍 Fantastic with chicken and apple!!!💕
Lemon balm and mint belong to the same horticultural genus but are two distinct plants. You can easily identify them by crushing leaves and smelling the oils. Lemon balm can grow in sunnier locations than mint varieties..
I had difficulty sleeping and it lead to severe migraines. Started drinking lemon balm green tea before bed and it changed my life . I will suggest it to anyone who’s having sleep issues.
That's amazing!
For how long did you drink it?
Thank you🙏☺️

Does this take over the garden like mint?
It is aggressive, but not at mints level 👍 You can container grow it if it is a concern.
I think comfrey also has rosmarinic acid, yes?
Unfortunately, not advised anymore to take orally.
I have a sage plant can I use this for tea.

Not mint, but in mint family.
