Our home tour video is finally out YAY! Most of our stuff is from trusty Taobao. Our concept would be mainly modern with a lot of glass to make the whole space look bigger (without lux because our wallet doesnt allow)
Our renovation took around 3 months for a 3 Room HDB BTO (ours is SBF) and we spent around $40k for renovation (including electrical fittings and aircon + box up) and $20k for our furniture and electronics! We have moved into our place for 4 months now and we are in love with our home! Can't wait for more adventures to come!

Same here, I got a three room bto for my family. But unlike your case, we have two kids which we wouldn't expecting to have the second one when we got 3 room. So we will convert the living room to a room for the second child.
3 room house is not big but most important is that the whole family stays together happily in there.
Surprised that the renovation is 40k since you didn't do alot plus knocking down the wall and glass panel for the study room.

I think cuz we don’t have tiling and tiling itself already cost $8-9k! Then the sintered stone also more expensive 🤣 the glass window at the peninsula too. But cuz our first home we dw to compromise too much but I think after our first home we eventually come to consensus that practicality is more impt!

May i know which shipping company you use to ship your itema from Taobao?
Hello! I used a 3rd party forwarder. Basically I talk to her on WeChat and then she will guide on what address to use etc and also help with the GST portion! Can just pay her via her Taobao shop directly and she will handle shipment all the way to your home for you :)

Hello! Ah if you’re worried you can ping the seller and ask them to 打木架 on the packaging (got extra charge but not a lot) and I didn’t add insurance 😅 so far the things arrived safely! I ordered red wine glass it shattered when arrived at the warehouse my forwarder told me and I immediately requested for refund on the app

Only those who've used pull-out taps for the kitchen sink will know that huge benefits that it brings. Yes, quality ones can be fairly more expensive than the normal tap but the benefits far outweigh the cost difference.

Ahhh we don’t have plans to have kids in the near future yet! And the 4 room is harder to get for BTO :( chances are lower hence we went w 3 room for now!
Actually, it's possible to get a 3 room bto even if you have kids. I have two kids and I'm moving into 3 room bto soon.
There's two rooms and a living room. So technically I will have three rooms. Just nice for family of four. Haha.

I got my bomb shelter light from Shopee I think it’s q bright I like it maybe u can check the seller out shp.ee/41wlejq I got the daylight 24W 30cm one. Try not to get 3 tone cuz I find 3 tone lights not as bright for the daylight/white light 🤣
