I love this bro... The battery just slid in there like it was meant for that bike. I can totally get behind a KR5V mine is running great on a ND72450 and a 200a 72v battery. I'd totally buy one of these bikes and just max out the fardriver settings on the stock power system and see how long it lasts. Not everyone is ready for 72v, but what you're experimenting with is right up my alley. SICK! That bike would be awesome with a set of supermotos and a DKD with that KR5V you have coming!
What about how high you can max out continuous amps and voltage settings in the app, with the stock battery. So if you can get a higher continuous amps(like 90a continuous) you can keep the 48v cause 72v*60a=4320watts and 48v*90a=4320watts. Also should've tried the different settings before changing the sprocket maybe you could have got the same speed or close to it with greater torque. 🤯
@@myrontaylor77 The sounds like the stock controller max is 70A. I don't see any info on what the stock battery can do, But I would try 70A just for the fun of it 😈 Of course the BMS might trip at 70A.

@Josuecuh Had my first little ride today. The controller can do 70A line current, It ships at 50A. So that's a nice little bump, and it sounds like that might be the limit of the stock battery as well.
Appreciate the love and super glad we got this thing ironed out! Definitely thinking thr kr5v with the base mount and swapping to atleast a 72450 so now we can run phase angle and not the stock encoder motor. Thing should absolutely be a rocket and push the limits of the chassis rather then the drivetrain! You know me im here for the next update!.. surron/crf fenders and send it ;-)
@16:00 max line current does not need to be limited to the Maximum CONTINUOUS rating of the battery (in this case 60a), it can be set as high as the maximum discharge rating, which is not specified on your Amorge, as long as the BMS allows it. When unsure what peak discharge is, you can set line amps such that it causes 0.5v/cell in series sag. So for 20s, a 10v sag such as 82v down to 72v when you give full throttle, is maximum line current should be set at, as far as the battery is concerned. Then the max rpm should be set to bring current back down to max rated discharge (60a in this case). The speed limit can be set with MaxSpeed or ratios in speeds. Since the bike cruised at 50 mph at 60a, that is probably the maximum realistic speed for that battery, however acceleration can be much better if you set line current to the peak discharge of the battery and then set the MaxSpeed to restrict it to 50 mph, which will automatically pull current back down to 60a. If you don’t have a temperature sensor in the motor you can use Cacu which is temperature simulation, and it uses whatever you enter in RatedPower as the thermal mass constant of the motor for the simulation. So you can set it to 500w if you want it to simulate higher temperatures and shit down the controller before you burn it up. Its just a simulation so it resets as soon as you reboot the controller. If the motor overtemp trips when the motor is still cool, increase rated power to 1000w and try it. You want it to show a slightly hotter temperature than actual since its a simulation. Shutting down the controller BEFORE the magic smoke leaves the motor is better than AFTER it already left. Lol
