- I've been selling plants at the markets for many years and have a way of creating pots and arrangements so they have the best chance to last as long as possible.
I often get asked whether i use cuttings or rooted plants, how long i let them grow and how i choose the plants.
In this video i'll try answer all of those questions and show you a few different succulents.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful succulent
That is so true abt repotting. Wish I can share my plants w/ all
well done & informative.Thank you for sharing.
Thanks you so much 🙂💚
Those are some of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen! I noticed you let your arrangements live outside, do they get any direct sunlight or do you keep them shaded? Thanks for sharing!! ❤
Thank you ☺💚 Yes, they all live outside but under different shade cloths. The ones i make with sun-loving succulents are kept either in direct sun or under 30% shade cloth in summer and those made with shade-tolerant succulents usually live under 50% shade-cloth 🙂
Thank you, enjoyed seeing your arrangements
Thank you so much 💚
I love the little mermaid planter❤
So do i!😀 They are super cute 🧜♀💙 I have so many around the house 😅
Gorgeous arrangements! What soil mix do you use in these pots? And do you water them from the top or bottom? Thank you! Bonnie
I'll make a video reply in the next couple of days :)
I was about to make a video but realised i already had a very similar one done (link below) :) In short, I treat all of my pots the same and water overhead with a hose/let rain fall on them. The potting mix i use is a succulent potting mix from a company called Debco/AGS they are an Australian company so if you're in a different country, it may not be available. Hope this helps 💚

Its sort of jarring to think how long you have to prepare in advance to sell your plants / arrangements. It must take a long time to start up a business like this, as you need to invest in big nursery spaces, grow for months to years at a time, take care of all the plants against pests, sun damage, overwatering etc, and still have lots of plants that are unusable to sell in the end. Do you have a video on how you got into this sort of business? It would be fascinating to see your experience?
It is a lot of work- pretty much all day every day 😅😅 i am planning to do a video on it in the future! there’s a bit of background on my journey on our website succulentgrowingtips.com 💚
@@SucculentGrowingTips Thank you so much for the link. It would be very informative to see how these things even begin. Hard work indeed, at least for me so far, taking care of the cute plants is a wonderful feeling, though can't imagine for the amount that you deal with on the daily. Looking forward to that video 😁
@@SucculentGrowingTips Just read the 'about' section of your shared link, and its such an inspiring change to your vision for the future. Its something so relatable for me, as someone who is passionate about a solarpunk future. Its hard to find a method to get in, and find a place to make an impact and save and preserve our nature and planet, while incorporating nature with human growth as well. Now even more keen for your video and your growth 😁
Beautiful arrangements. If you were close to me I’d buy some of those lovely pots.
Thank you! 💚 I love the pots too and it's becoming a problem as i'm keeping way too many for myself 😅😅
