    Repost from www.wfirm.com/about/
    Meet the Wetherington Law Firm
We are a boutique litigation firm in Atlanta that represents plaintiffs in complex cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and class actions. Our firm only pursues high-value, meritorious lawsuits. We enjoy working with people who share our goals and have an earnest desire to make a positive difference in the world. Large corporations and their insurance companies may not like us, but they respect the work we do and our results speak not just for ourselves, but for every client that hires us. When we file a lawsuit or claim, the people on the other side know that we have properly investigated the claims, know the applicable law, and are preparing the case for trial, not a quick settlement.
Seeking full and complete financial compensation for our clients is important, but it isn’t everything. Money cannot bring a family member back, reattach a limb, or take away a lifetime of physical pain or mental anxiety. Clients come to us because they know that helping others make informed decisions about their health, safety, and financial wellbeing is an important part of our mission. We frequently work with law enforcement, legislators, and federal agencies to understand the root cause of problems. This often leads to uncovering dangerous trends or patterns of behavior that must be changed.
Through legislation, refusing to settle unless changes are made, and simply sharing their stories, our clients’ have saved MILLIONS of people from serious injury or death. Our clients understand that even saving one other person from being hurt or injured will help make every day of recovery a little bit better. If you are considering hiring us for your case, it is important that you know that we care about you as a person and will work with you however you want to help make the world a safer and better place.
The Wetherington Law Firm and its lawyers have received just about every award or accolade available. In 2020 and 2021 the Wetherigton Law Firm was voted one of the top 3 personal injury law firms in Georgia by other lawyers. Our firm’s founder, Matt Wetherington, is nationally recognized for his trial record, philanthropic efforts, and consumer advocacy. Matt was one of the youngest attorneys to be inducted into the ALM Verdicts Hall of Fame and his ability to effect change outside of the courtroom has earned praise from corporate leaders and all sides of the political spectrum. Even Ralph Nader has praised him for his ethical and persistent efforts to craft solutions to difficult problems. The associate attorneys in the firm are equally decorated, including recognition from SuperLawyers, 40 under 40, Lawyers of Distinction, and dozens of others.

This is fantastic, I'm an undergrad looking at law school and it's stories like this that fill me with passion towards wanting to advocate for the little guy against negligent corporations.
