Yes I hope they do because I actually downloaded another arc app magic arc by some other creator and the functions I am having problems with work correct with his app so I believe it's a bug in scalextrics app? But the scalex app seems more easy to use and the display when racing looks better so I hope they can fix it. Thanks Lew.
Interesting gadget. But I think, for the ones running just for fun just a few times, this might be too much. But I like the idea of the different race modes.😉
On my digital Carrera track when you hit the start button to ready for a race there is no power to the track. You have to hit the button again and then the countdown begins. I think Scalextric needed some more R&D.

I have Scalextric Arc Pro and Carrera 132/124 digital tracks. No problems with either brand. The end of race power setting determines if the track has power or not. I don't think it's an R&D issue. It's more a learn the software and familiarization issue. With Scalextric of only choose a set with the ARC Pro as it does either digital or analog direct out of the box. My Carerra Digital 132/124 won't run any analog cars. I'm looking at a $300 option to get the ability to flip a switch and then be able to run analog (non-Digital) cars on my Carrera track. I like both systems and find each has it's pros and cons.

@@BSslotcars Steve dumb track "straight, curve,etc" can be used in any system. You and I could 3D print up interfaces "carrera 1/32 changing to GO " as example and sell. Bend a few metal rails is all.

I use scalextric track because I have a bunch of it but I run anologe with a proper power supply and professor motor controllers I believe the set you have has issues as do many scalextric products hope scalextric gets back to you with a solution 🤟🤟👍🇦🇺
When I started on the Digital side of Scalelxtric, I got a New Set but it was already 15 years old. I bought the Arc Pro Base from PTT, & 1 Wireless Controller. But I just wanted to drive Pace or Ghost Cars, so I got 2 Carrera Digital Sets. I got both "Worlds" Analog & Digital.
@@BSslotcars Thanks for doing the Review! It depends on what people want. I do think Carrera Digital is a lot easier to setup the cars. There used to be a Hobby Shop with a 1/32 Slotcar Track, but the interest changed to RC cars years ago.

@BSslotcars I do like that you can do timings with this system. That's something I miss on the carrera evolution track ...no app from carrera for evolution 😟
On an anolog track such as your Policar track, the controller affects the electricity going to the track. On your digital Scalextric track or any digital track, the power to the track is always on, and with the controller, you actually drive the car and affect how much power the car takes from the track. The Scalextric digital app is better than the Carrera digital app, but for overall functionality the Carrera digital track is better. Scalextric is more popular in England since it is made in the UK, and worldwide Carrera is more popular. The Carrera track is also a bit bigger and firmer than the Scalextric track more simulator to the Policar track. From being in the slotcar hobby and watching all kinds of TH-cam videos on slotcar racing I can tell you that anolog slotcar racing is way more popular than the digital. Also many that went digital went back to anolog as they claim it is easier with less problems over digital, the functionality is better, and most public tracks are only anolog. Sadly Most of the Scalextric digital track users are who went back to anolog as for functionality Scalextric just did not get it right. There are a good handful that use and race Carrera digital but most who race it went back to racing anolog or converted their digital track to anolog. Hopefully Scalextric has a solution for you or I would return the Scalextric digital track for the better Carrera digital track.
Trust me I know I been doing this for ever I had my own ho and 1/32 racing club and even raced at the ho nationals, I had every brand 1/32 track but the new scale auto and the policar to me is best the way it's made and how all it's accessories work with it. Did you consider putting some sort of insulating material between the 2 track? Its feasible that there may have been some contact between the police and Scalextric track.

put cardboard under that little layout so its on the cardboard and not on the other track you might be getting a short from the other track somehow

yes a start up guide but I tried 4 tablets and a phone all do the same must be a bug in the app.
