The 2023 PSE Fortis is a compound bow available in 30-inch or 33-inch versions, with three cam options so you can pick how you want your bow to perform. All bows feature PSE's new EZ .220 spacer system, which is a simple way to shift the cams left or right while tuning. This is a feature-laden bow that's a great choice for hunting or 3D.

Seeing a lot more videos on the fortis and Unite… hopefully that means PSE is catching up on orders. Can’t wait for my fortis 30 to get in!

You can connect the rest to the yoke system, but you want to make sure you put a knot on both sides of the hole to ensure that the rest doesn't stay up longer than it needs to. Source: I've done it with 1 knot and arrows will wear out the plastic rest tongues and they do not if you put a knot on the other side.

So as I mentioned in the video, we filmed this at high speed and the rest bounces up when you connect to the yoke because the yoke and the cables flex forward at the shot. You can test this yourself simply by pulling forward on the cables. If the rest rises at all, that's no bueno. The rest might not hit your arrow.....but it can. Conversely, the rest does not bounce up at all when you tie off to the limb, which is why Hamskea says "no" to connecting to yokes.

@@pjreilly3997 That's totally fair. I've not had issues with using the yoke system but I understand why anyone wouldn't want to use it.

@@MondernMan with a QAD you wouldn’t connect to the PBT anyway……you’d tie in the down cable below the center serving

I'm shooting an rx5 ultra this looks like a good bow if the speeds are close. My ultra gets about 270ish with a 520-grain arrow.

      Why's your arrow so heavy?

@@5jjt because I built it that way.

@letsgobrandon8375 lol exactly. I dont get why people try to hate on anyone who has high foc/grain arrows. Mine are 510 and I think it's the perfect ratio for my hunting style. (whitetail). I dont shoot past 40 yards anyway so I dont need it to be super fast. But I do want to as much penetration as possible. Which I get. To each their own. Go ahead and shoot your 350 grain arrow worh your mecs. and see how it goes for you. 😅😅

How does the bow being slower equate to better accuracy?

    • @pjreilly3997

Bigger brace height is more forgiving, but leads to slower speeds
