    Has Bergoglio repented of worshipping the Pachamama demon goddess?
    He's the reason I'm contemplating Orthodoxy

      Why would you leave the One Faith because of a bad pope? He is human and a sinner like you and I.

      Unfortunately Bergoglio has NOT repented of his HERETICAL views… well at least not publicly! We have had some BAD popes before, so nothing new here other than the fact that all of his errors are instantaneously transmitted worldwide for the whole world to cringe over and Lucifer to laugh at. Not to worry too much… the Immaculate Heart of Mary is about to kick some butt! In the meantime keep praying for Bergoglio to change his evil ways

    The point they make at 36:48 and onward is so manifestly true: we need spiritual fathers in our priests and we need deep fellowship of the kind they mention.

    Catholic Brothers, the Catholic Church teaches CCC 2068:
    The Council of Trent teaches that the Ten Commandments are obligatory for Christians and that the justified man is still bound to keep them;28 the Second Vatican Council confirms: The bishops, successors of the apostles, receive from the Lord . . . the mission of teaching all peoples, and of preaching the Gospel to every creature, so that all men may attain salvation through faith, Baptism and the observance of the Commandments."29
    You don't have a problem with Dr. Taylor Marshall, you have a problem with Catholicism. You need a full conversion. You are on the way but you haven't arrived.

      Yup… agree! I was surprised that they referred to themselves as Traditional. I understand why after listening to their journey. Really too bad that they didn’t have a strong spiritual father/priest to help guide them, but then again God knows what He is doing. God Bless and praying that you continue to grow in your faith and bring others along for the ride.

    Full disclosure. I'm not making comments regarding this video. I just wanted to say that when you say something about a 3rd party and then turn off comments, I find that cowardly. There may be some legitimate reason for doing so. But it looks cowardly. I for one don't usually watch videos with comments turned off because I feel that the video can't stand up to scrutiny. They're your videos, so I have no say though I won't be watching any.

    • @TheCatholicBrothers
      @TheCatholicBrothers 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Hey Randy, are you referring to our Taylor Marshall video?
      If so, the comments were on for quite some time. We had to eventually turn them off, not because we are unable to receive and reply to critiques (all substantive critiques and replies have been left up in the comments box), but because it actually became too time consuming to delete vulgar comments coming from TM’s most devoted followers. Swearing and hurling grotesque insults, we feel, are not fitting in the comments box of a catholic channel, especially if any people genuinely interested in Catholicism would happen upon it. The debates and arguments had all run their course and there was little left to be said on either side, so we finally decided it was time to just close that thread and move along. The video and the comments are there for all to view and opine on. But I won’t have the comments section of our channel turn into a stumbling block for any genuine seekers who might be knocking on the doors of the Church. There is a greater good to protect other than the freedoms of certain Catholics to behave poorly in public, and that greater good is the evangelistic mission and thrust of our channel. Griping and insulting can be directed elsewhere- plenty of other channels’ comments sections for that. Not ours.

    Sean Hussey Thus the Holy Bible of which Jehovah God is the one Author was completed by humans of his witnesses, even as it had been begun by means of them. Consequently, with no room allowed for Scriptural contradiction, it may be said that The Holy Bible is the Book by Jehovah's Witnesses. As Revelation 19:6 exclaims, "Hallelujah!"

      The Jehovah's Witnesses dates from the 1870s. The Catholic Church was founded by Christ and his Apostles two thousand years ago. The New Testament was also compiled by the Catholic Church 300 years later and was confirmed in a number of Church Councils.

    Sean Hussey DEVIL-INSPIRED TEACHINGS
    It was the Devil who told Eve: "You positively will not die." (Genesis 3:4; Revelation 12:9) But she did die; no part of her lived on. That the soul lives on after death is a lie started by the Devil. And it is also a lie, which the Devil has had spread, that the souls of the wicked are tormented in a hell or a purgatory. Since the Bible clearly shows that the dead are unconscious, these teachings could not be true. Actually, neither the word "purgatory" nor the idea of a purgatory is found in the Bible.

    • @Iffmeister
      @Iffmeister 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      To be quite fair, Catholics have a longer canon including books that are in the Septuagint (the Greek version of the old testament which the new testament often cites) and that one definitely includes purgatory as a concept

      @@Iffmeister PURGATORY
      "According to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, the state, place, or condition in the next world.....where the souls of those who die in the state of grace, but not yet free from all imperfection , make expiation for unforgiven venial sins or for the temporal punishment due to venial and mortal sins that have already been forgiven and by so doing, are purified before they enter heaven." (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Vol. X1, p. 1034) Not a Bible teaching.

      Corinthians 3:10-15.
      "By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved-even though only as one escaping through the flames. (NIV)"
