Josh, thanks for sharing your story! Great podcast. My favorite line from Josh, "Not only are we all in the same boat, but we are all seasick.” from G.K. Chesterton.

Thank you so much for your testimony, Josh! You're right when saying that the Evangelicals can help us realize the primacy of Christ's love. Indeed, catholicism without Jesus would be like a dead corpse without a heart. Having been brought in an Evangelical community myself, I realized how the Catholic Church was though more faithful to Christ than any other Christian denomination. That is why I decided to enter that venerable Church one year ago, not rejecting the love for Christ which had been infused in me by my family, but having gained a fuller understanding of faith and a firmer ground for charity.
To use another image, the Magisterium of the Church could be compared to a skeleton upon which the flesh of faith and charity can develop. Without this firm structure, our faith and charity would be flaccid. Conversely, this image also implies that the skeleton of doctrine is insufficient if not covered by Christ's charity and our response to it. This is probably why so many Catholics fall away from the Church, for they don't perceive either that Christ is its base or that faith and charity must grow and mature on a firm, objective ground, not merely on a subjective basis - namely MY interpretation of the Scripture rather than that of all the Church Fathers.
As you say, we don't have to convince our Protestant brethren that we are right and they wrong (it would be ineffective), but we can show them how Catholicism fully develops the Bible's teaching which they cherish so much, how it has the most consistent doctrine and how it is moreover based on a historical basis rooted in the first centuries of Christianity.
God bless you in your life and ministry, Josh!

There are sinners among the Clergy just as there are Pastors who err...There are around 400,000 priests in the Catholic Church and we can't judge the Church started by Jesus Christ himself for the crimes committed by a few...after all, Jesus didn't pick the holiest of the holy to be the apostles...U could expect one Judas, among every 12 priests and the other 10 weren't that great either... remember Peter denying Jesus...everyone except John abandoning Jesus during crucifixion...John and his brother asked Jesus to burn a village and we know how power hungry they were....You can only expect a similar composition of bishops, priests and Pope's...The fact that the Catholic Church has withstood the test of time despite the failings of the earthly leaders shows that the heavenly leader is the one in charge!

    He says "Catholicism is true?"
How do you get joy out of Roman Catholicism? I heard another Catholic TH-camr say these words: "Persuing the narrow path?" The Roman Catholic Church is for the "wide" way that leads to destruction. For example, the Catechism of the Catholic Church says:
"The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."(CCC 841)
Muslims deny Jesus' death and resurrection "for the sin of the world."(John 1:29) Muslims deny Jesus as God incarnate. Muslims deny Jesus as the Creator of the universe.
The Roman Catholic Church should be avoided at all costs! This Church, the so-called "sole Church of Christ" is full of LIES!

@@annmary6974 Why would I want to "check out Catholic answers" when I already know that the Catholic Church is the sole Church of the Antichrist?

That was said in a council which is subject to change and was said at a time when the world was still healing from war and the church tried to bring some unity.
It’s called VATICAN II and any devout Catholic despises it.
Vatican II also says Protestants are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Which many Catholics agree with.
Wish you saw Catholics as the same
If you call the Catholic Church fowl over this , then what’s stopping me from calling Protestants false for following Sola Scriptura. Which is un Biblical
