My parents are doctors as well… mums a gynaecologist and fathers a radiologist! I too failed and didn’t clear neet pg went to a private college. Came back with a similar experience in my 20s. I too didn’t want to give neet pg and do three years of pg and having no life. I relate so much to you and your journey. I’ll give my plab 1 in august ! ❤

Being priviledge helped you a lot, okay thats fine if I don`t have it. Di its gonna be my 3rd attempt after 40 days for my NEET-UG
last 2 attempts were not such great or nearer to the line of being getting into med school. And this year I have prepared but still not such great scores in monk test. Still I have 40 days in my hand I want to give my best, and as indian parents my parents are also worried about the socity pressure and its obvious. But I know I can clear this time, this is the only thing which I have desired of and dreamed of. I know that their are many challenges waiting for me. And I am priviledge too that my parents trust me and have faith on me, but I sometimes have guilt too that I sometimes missuse their trust and for which I never gonna forgive myself. Thank you Di for all your efforts and courage that you put into it, and now after all your failures they might be proud on you di.

I''d failed my neet ug once as well.. and mbbs , not being a topper, enjoying my college and internship, sat for neet pg, failed that as well... took a drop and just decided i don't want to pursue this.. and that moment around a year and half ago was when i came across you and your content.. i've looked up to you ever since.. gave my plab1 in aug. and failed it by just a few marks.. and god it hurts.. i'm seeing this video and have a hope i'll make through it like you did!!! Hi Monisha. I have watched a lot of your videos. This one is my favourite till date.
I found it so relatable. Even I have been blessed with very supportive parents. And i come from a privileged background. My mom always pushed me to participate in extra curricular activities as a kid. I couldn’t crack NEET UG to get a government seat, so my parents supported me and i enrolled myself into a private college. All my life, i have had the freedom to make my own choices and they have supported me throughout. This video actually reminded me this. Reminded me to be grateful to them.
Thank you so much for this video, it has really made my day.😊😊

Even, I have done my MBBS from a private medical College,it's not like I didn't study, I tried really very hard but couldn't make it and all my friends got into govt college and even after completing MBBS i do get taunts for doing it from private. But for neet pg I gave my 100% and by god's grace i secured a good rank and now can do pg from govt college. I have learnt that your failures make you a better person and it's okay to fail because there is something more amazing waiting for you❤

Such a great video Dr. Monisha. It does take a lot of courage to acknowledge your failures and to learn from them. specially so when you're a prominent figure for IMGs. It really does look different from the outside when everything is not on camera. I had to retake my Ielts exams and my plab 2 exams and faced some problems with my gmc registration and getting job was a tough path as well. But I'll be finally starting my work next month and all this feels worth it. Thank you for your informative videos and hope you see you give the good news about your driving test as well. cheers :D

That said just give your best and be ready for the result that comes. Irrespective of the result you will learn a lot from your failures and successes. Best video ever .. this is real life … most of us aren’t gifted or born prodigy’s and we lose sight of that seeing everyone’s success around us and also the success of people on the internet and while it takes courage to own those failures .. it’s a realisation of how different we all are and how r journeys our different and we will make it in our own sweet time . Thank you Monisha for being honest ❤

Iam about to give my PLAB1 and personally I have never commented on anyone's youtube video.. I follow you coz I like the content that you post.. But from today i think I started admiring you mam. It takes real courage and acceptance to be talking all these with calm.. I come from Telangana too I just got to know that its your native too.. Anyway.. Wishing you all the peace and goodvibes🍀 and I personally really like your content and the vibe of the settings of your videos too💯

So you mean that PLAB is easier than NeetPg.....by the way proud of you❤

PLAB1 and PLAB2 are relatively easier in terms of the exam but they are just licensing exams. They mean nothing if you don't get offered a post/job/training. As just clearing PLAB isn't the end of the journey. It is the start of a long journey of getting a job and then hopefully getting into speciality training of your liking. Getting into Speciality training is only becoming increasingly competitive. In all that, you are moving countries, adjusting into a new healthcare system etc. So, I wouldn't necessarily say one thing is easier over the other.
