    Thanks Tim, I've been doing an hour every morning for the last 3&1/2 years and was feeling like I was getting the points better in the 30 days series and the 7 day beginner series as I re-do them, but this shows me how far I have to go- agree with the others- I noticed 3 edits for the Conscious Movement crew- bet the full class would be a real test for intermediates- at least I feel better than a beginner now even though I failed on the second chaturanga hold- collapso belly flop- well really loving the flow though- time for a lemon tea I think.

    Chaturanga chaturangaaaah 😁😁😁And here I was waltzing about without any blocks 😂Forget about 30seconds or even the form 😭maybe I just about managed to keep myself above the floor. I was pretty stoked about my transition from the plank-chaturanga-updog to dndog these past few months, but this hovering for extended periods of forever was the first time ever. Helped me to crash land back on Mom-Earth!
    Still a LONG way to go, but loving each step of the journey 🎉
    Enjoyed this perfect class in the soothing setting with calming Ollie!!

    • @yogawithtim
      @yogawithtim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Cynthia, good question. If you're using the wall instead of a table or counter, you will need to keep the hands higher (like shoulder height) so it isn't so much extension on the wrist. I recommend using a table or counter instead because you can keep the hands at a position that will feel more like a proper positioning for chaturanga. Awesome. Chest bump challenged! Rinse repeat. Great lunch time escape from work stress. Food for the soul. QUESTION on child’s pose. I’ve seen you do it two ways. With knees closed my stomach compresses diaphragm and constructs breathing. Prefer to have knees open. Either way ok? Benefits of one over the other? Thanks.

    • @yogawithtim
      @yogawithtim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Stan. Glad you liked it. Great question. The first child's you mentioned helps to open the back of the diaphragm, and the intercostals in the back of the rib cage. If this one is a strain for you to breathe in it it probably means you need to work on it more. Just try to stay relaxed and breath calmly. I usually use the one I want for the purpose of what we’re working on in the class. Thank you for an amazing class Tim. The chataranga holds were brutal! I weight lift and thought that I was already very strong in my upper body, but those holds showed that I have a lot of room to improve! I'm excited to redo this class and get stronger :)

    I have decided to follow your videos for improving my yoga practice.I think I will keep doing the video you have posted till your next video comes. Instead of doing one video a day like I did for the challenge. I think that will loosen my muscles more and will improve my flexibility.

      Ok cool. I'd also suggest that you work on the "What's Next Challenge" on the CMC, so you can keep your progress going after The Challenge. If you’re not signed up for the CMC, click here:
