I suppose at least he had the chance to know what giving and receiving real love felt like, since I don't think he knew it before Eiji. @@yeongmelli3734 when eiji was going to Japan ,he didn't know Ash died, I don't know about the manga but i have seen a page in which when eiji return to US,knowing about Ash death he mistake someone with ash...it just broke my heart..tears just started rolling I agree that when someone shares such a special bond, it's cruel to separate them by death... I don't know what happens to eiji after knowing about Ash...but i never have the courage to read the manga as I know I won't be able to see eiji without ash

Then they are still "Friends" 😭 I've never hated the word friends not until this anime
