- Gods be good! The time has come for Mal and Jo to take their place on the Iron Throne and dive deep into the Season 2 premiere of 'House of the Dragon.' FWIW, my wife watched and enjoyed (the violence in) all of GoT. But hearing what was going to happen with B&C, she tapped out of the show.
Even watered down, it made her stop watching.
Late I know but on the kid's length of hair- I didn't cut my kids hair for the first 4 years and it was literally down to their hips so I think the wig length isn't crazy lol

I've always read the "you imbecile" line as "why do you even ask? of course i love you". I mean, this family is not really known for their outward affections, but Alicent did put her body between Aegon a dragon that was close to killing them.

The fact we're only getting 8 episodes per season i s why so many things (wrongfully so) are so compressed or omitted in this series. I think its a BIG mistake. I understand this show is a huge undertaking for the makers but how great this show would be if we got 12 episodes like older HBO shows

No one will say it so I have some thoughts - HOD is not great.. if I need a 3hr recap show to understand what’s happening in a show, then something is wrong.
This is what they do though. Not sure if it’s natural or has become their shtick, but they go long on a lot of shows.
You don’t. They don’t do the show for you.
Hopefully you don’t need a three hour recap to understand. If you do, consider watching something more your speed.

No, like I'm down to go deep with them. Their star wars series coverage is great. I love Mal and Jo but this one had so much nonsense and it took 4 minutes for them just to get through the reminders... I just don't think the episode was worth this length. Maybe at 1.25 or 1.5 speed. Lol

Just hit skip until they start talking about the episode like the rest of us do.
Also there is no such thing as nonsense when these two podcast together.
