Some one's legacy left behind. The home looked like an old farm house. You just wonder if the house was filled with love and happiness at one time. Thank you for sharing with us.
Amazing historic home with an incredible story. But it hasn't been abandoned since 1976. The 2009 calendar, the modern dehumidifier with digital display, the modern microwave with digital display, and the Samsung TV with built in VCR prove somebody occupied the place long after the drunk flying accident. None of those things existed in or before 1976. Perhaps a relative remained in the house until 2009. Still an amazing find. Great video.
@@jennifletcher2095 I'm guessing the doctor's wife (widow) remained in the house. And the cots in the living room were probably used by the wife after she became too old to go up and down the stairs.
@@BIGGER_RED Possible. But squatters don't usually bring along microwaves, dehumidifiers, and cots. And the above mentioned appliances would be useless without electricity. So, my guess is the widow, as she would still have the electricity on.
That is a sad story about the man that died in a plane crash. Drunk flying and without a license. That was a stupid thing to do. The house is cool. Good size bedrooms. I have to comment on the respect you show while looking in drawers and everything else. Its a shame they let this house sit there and rot away. Looking around this house gives you a sad feeling knowing how the owner died. A sad but as always interesting video. Thank you BigBankz for sharing the story of the owner and showing us this cool house.
I love it when you get the story of the property. Someone had to have lived there at least in 2009 since there was a calendar. Very interesting though. I really do enjoy your videos. Thank you
I can't imagine, no matter how drunk a person is, deciding to take a plane up and away. He could have had a subconscious death wish I'm thinking. Lovely old home, thanks for another great explore.
It's funny how the rats or whatever rodent lives there, took the stuffing downstairs to make their nests when there are drawers upstairs. Great video as always.

Maybe relatives finnelly decided to sell the land ect and they had whomever was burried there moved. OR some land developer just got rid of the grave or graves which of course would be 'illegal', but who would have known there was a grave or graves there if it's out in the bonnies and the body or bodies were moved along with the headstone (s). Maybe just the headstone or headstones were just moved. The land developer could claim they knew nothing about a grave or graves being there. I think more than one grave was there. If I was there I'd try for EVPS and would snap a bunch of pictures at random, maybe would get some ghost pictures.
What a beautiful home that was back in the day. Love the wooden ceilings and the old doors. Such a tragedy of the owners death. It looked like a peaceful happy home at one time.
The metal tubes by the stairs are scaffolding. You put them together for painting and any time you need something more stable than a ladder. Cool house, thanks!
I love seeing old wood furniture pieces and hardwood floors. I'm terrified of mice/rats, so I would be out of there the second I spotted a rats nest. I bet you guys have seen your fair share of rodents. Another great explore.
It’s a beautiful home love the older furniture. I’m thinking maybe his wife was living there until 2009 I believe that’s what the calendar had . Really been enjoying your videos. Have a blessed day 😊
Can you IMAGINE?! A DOCTOR! Civil rights activist raising 8 million$ in grant money in the 60's, OUT ON A DRUNKEN BENDER, FLYING a PLANE WITHOUT A license! Crashes and kills himself and everyone else on board - his friends! What a SCANDAL! '
In 1995, we rode to Sturgis and had scored a 1-bedroom apartment to rent above Deadwood Dick's Saloon for a week. It looked out over the street where we could keep an eye on our bikes parked down below and also people-watch when taking a break from the action. The toilet was a prime spot to take in the view as it was right next to a window in the bathroom! 🚽 🪟 👍
Love these old time capsule homes but things here dont seem right. Nothing seems to be circa 1967 to 1976. I assume the doctor was wealthy and would've made the place nicer. There are a few items that appear to be very recent (television, bugspray, and the appliance (dehumidifier?) in the dining room at 5:51). I dont belive anyone lived there in a very long time and that someone was going to fix it up but gave up 11:24. Was the grave moved and not robbed? Just sayin. The last bedroom is my favorite room. Another good tour Big Bankz, thanks! 👍👍👍
I wonder what happened to the family? Were there lawsuits? It's a shame. That's a really lovely, cozy looking house! As always, l wish that someone would and could have saved history. Thanks, and blessings till next time, BBZ! 🌿🌷🌿
The house was pretty cool looked like a farmhouse maybe. It’s sad that the guys legacy will always be that he was driving drunk instead of all the good things that he did. I to wonder if the house was filled with love at one time. Certainly seems like it’s devoid of it now. I hope that his family is the one that’s taking the stuff out and not just thefts. And who would steal the poor man’s grave? That certainly would not leave for a resting in peace situation. Sad when you hear things like that. Anyway it was a good Vlog. I personally like the stairway shot. That was pretty cool. Thanks so much. Sending good vibes 😎 out to you from California. 😎💜🤟🏻🇺🇸🇺🇦🕊
