Nice analysis. I would probably push Djokovic down a level and lift up Zverev, based purely on recent form. But it could end up being a complete surprise, like twenty years ago in 2004 when Gaudio lifted the trophy.
I wouldn't bump Zverev up, just take Djokovic down one. And maybe put Sinner up there if Alcaraz is there. Although I would personally not put anyone in the top tier.
@@hangonaminute junior champion does not equate to senior roland garros champion , u stating he won juniors , doesnt make any difference since there have been so many past winners of junior roland garros , and barely any in seniors obviously because of nadal soooooo.
@@gandola362 Actually, I was wrong. Sinner never played any junior slams. His best junior ranking was a mere 133. Only a handful of junior French Open champs managed to capture the senior title: Warwinka, Edberg, Wilander (3 times) and Lendl (also 3 times). In the last 25 years, only four junior champions went on to win a senior slam of any type -- Roddicck (US), Murray (Wimbledon and US), Wawrinka (Australia, French and US) and Cilic (US) -- and there have been none since 2005. Of the big three, only Federer won a junior title; Nadal and Djokovic have none.

There is definitely no clear favourite this year unlike the women
Struff should be at least on the list .. he will be hard to beat for everyone
No mention of Sinner at all
Interesting 🤔
She said she thought he was going to withdraw, so this was probably recorded before his press conference or R1 match.
Both Sinner and Alcaraz would have been my picks, had they not missed warmup events due to injuries. Sinner was a junior champ at Roland Garros.

@@hangonaminute that was the entire twist in my answer , sinner barely played little to no itfs at all LMAO, I know that because I myself played .
Djokovic 🤣🤣. He will get cooked by the youngsters. His result in Rome is testament to it.
