Akmal Serendipity sounds nothing like what's in the chart! It's got guitars, drums, deep song writing. They have loads of money so they don't care what's popular in the chart
That *"Final"* look by Harrelson portrays words that have never even been formulated by the human brain & passed to the tongue, just millions of emotions felt by the soul and the heart. I wonder if they'll ever find a voice or if those emotions are better portrayed with just *That Look*. Powerful &/emotional, love it & all it represents.
ok, but did you get the scene? I think he went to jail due to being a sexual aggressor.. That´s why the kid was so worry at first place, and when he told her Beautiful, she looked at his legs, and he noticed it, he´s crying cause he realized nothing will be the same
Woody Harrelson is such a gifted actor. His looks throughout the video are so emotive and paint such a picture. Thanks for the poignant video. The message, along with U2's genius, is amazing.
How is this not a movie? So much power, so much left unsaid, I need to know more. I feel, just from this little clip it would have been Oscar material. How is it I'm just seeing this now? This also would have been a perfect title for the movie.
I may be nuts, but everything is wrapped into the tree. This is incredibly emotional. How refreshing it is to be moved by something as simple as a tree in the midst of what we are forced to deal with. Incredible!!
Woody is such an inspiration. You can see so many emotions on his face. He seems to go from numb/unworthiness to fear, to forgiving himself, and finally inner peace, as he gains his freedom back. The music of coarse still blows my mind. One of my husbands favs.
We all remember Cheers. But some might think he wasn't acting. I think it takes a lot of talent to play a lovable fool . This is an amazing performance. Excellent song too We all know that most talented people are very damaged . Only simple people breeze through life with a smile. I envy them but i wouldn't miss being a damaged nut job for anything.

Why can't I never forget how wonderful u2 is. I'm 35 and lived every moment I my life with u2... I was only 11 when I discovered u2 and I was hooked for life....
at 4:11-woody harrelson is a brilliant actor, the way he breaks down, sometimes success and actually winning for once is more terrifying than being comfortable in defeat every day
This song and the lyrics "And I'm a long way from where I was, where I need to be" are very deep in me because like many, I was once at a crossroads. I have lived with no money, no food, no family, no friends, no heat, in Dublin out of all places. A U2 fan whose dream was to work for U2, but became homeless instead... imagine that. But my life began, because I have survived, and U2 helped me. Yes, I have scars from the hunger and the abuse, but U2 has healed me. I thought the light had gone out, but it never had. U2 came back to my imagination. The conversation will be next. I am ready.
There are very few artists whose work can inspire such healing and hopefulness as effortlessly as U2 does. I'm really glad that you made it through and had them to keep you company during those very dark times. Wishing all the very best in your journey.
I think it’s not some certain people or bands help people to get back to the track. I think this is how God made us to be resilient in the life despite odds. Some people take this hand some decide not to. I wish your life is changed for good!
@@Critifries Yes, God is here to guide us. But I know I owe my survival to that band. Because it's that band's music and presence that kept me strong and courageous when I had absolutely no one else to lift me up.
This part of the lyrics “And I'm a long way from your hill of Calvary and I'm a long way from where I was, where I need to be” has a deep spiritual meaning to me. I have come a long ways from where I was not a spiritual person to what I am now but yet I’m a long ways from receiving the gift of his Son and knowing the Father fully until I meet Him in Heaven
There's a Terrence Malick influence here, in the wide shots, spiritual theme of the fallen but redeemable man that goes perfectly with the song, and especially the shot of the full tree, swaying in the wind. Nice.
My dad has spent my entire my life in prison, I've never met him. Maybe someday I will. A song for someone.. there is a light, you can't always see. There's a world we can't always be.
Here’s a story......so my relationship with my brother was so and so racked three instances of crappy police trials with domestic violence/Parents seperated and Brother got busted for speeding so much he did weekends and he got so mad at me over it since we lived together and so hated all of that he couldn’t wait to see me get into trouble that he went out of his way to tell me .......I’ve been to jail but no longer then 9 days but I can tell you it makes you feel like shit inside and especially all the Hastle that comes along with it not just being there but having a record and actually my best friend when to prison for two years trying to help his kid from choking then during the duration my brother had the Jezebel spirit and tried his hardest to see we fight and I go to jail that he even said he can’t wait to see me behind bars like my best friend....When people and family members or friends really don’t understand or care it hurts deep down inside so Incant imagine some people what they go through especially if they are really innocent in ways like I felt and they had to serve time anyway aslo just like my best friend Robi..His daughter also had to grow up while he was there the first two years of his life and I suffered from a torn brother brother relationship and with my parents deeply as well and myself wich hurt me all over for years and still does......when life doesn’t go to good I can tell you it hurts..I also had a neighbor who’s son died in a car accident after some family issues he was having and loss of his private business and discovery of cancer and multiple heart attacks....That guys heart is huge and that really was sad to watch him suffer..Seemed like everyone around me was going through something in some way.Even my other friend who’s son of the lady this guy was dating was talking to me about court and jail and as he drove off drunk crash wrecked the poor guys work van through a sheriffs yard and tree and ended up in jail for maybe the 6th dui and he is a year younger then me at the time.Lost houses and relationships due to drinking and driving/depression.Now to mention recently my dad ended up in jail after I use to drive him home from the bar and I was out Uber driving he slipped up and ended up in the county jail for a dui...he’s been hangin on the bottle ever since the divorce even before but worse now that to the point Im not sure if he’s mentally all there......I don’t even trust him..
future_Tarzan that’s horrible. We all need a father in our lives. Maybe, you can be a better father to a son or daughter. Break the cycle. Give your father a chance. He may need a break.
The title of this song is what got my attention. IMO it embodies the meaning of the word ‘music’. There IS a ‘song for everyone’, regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, gender, etc. It’s something that everyone can find in a song/music that they can relate to on a personal level! * Being a long time listener of U2 and Bono over the many years that I’ve been listening to them (I’m going on 70) I never heard this one before today.
The hesitancy in being touched to the awkward handshake. No hugging or anything like that. Beautiful. Kinda makes it more emotional than having the usual Hollywoodesque kiss-and-hug, father-daughter moment.
Such a beautiful video.!! Being in a box you call home is not normal, but sad that it becomes a place to be comfortable. How so many can relate to the video. Seeing the new man come in as you leave. Being so scared of freedom that when Woody hits the fence you can understand so well. Choices bring us there but new choices and for me with Gods help we can all become humble and see our children grow beautifully. That box made me who I am now and yes I learned from my mistakes. Now let Love be your guide. With my deepest Respects.
That little moment at 3:35 was a masterpiece; he sees the younger kid, probably reminding him of himself 20 or 30 years prior, just walking in after having done what we he’d done. The way he looks at him like he wants to say something to him but doesn’t have time and can’t even find the right words. Perfect.
Woody's character only speaks a few words. It's his face that tells the story. Just amazing acting and an equally amazing song!
love is what drives us all in this world, and that is what matters....Your words are true to the core....tks...

@@valeriehartman3705 I am happy you have sorted out this situation. Their music is great. I love listening this song many times. 🍀
@@Critifries Thank you Musa. Thank you so much. ❤
this song made me go through the pandemic. I am grateful to all the pain experienced by the band and the actors that made the song possible
U2 and Woody Harrelson are amazing. This is a brilliant video and song, a total masterpiece!!
There's a Terrence Malick influence here, in the wide shots, spiritual theme of the fallen but redeemable man that goes perfectly with the song, and
especially the shot of the full tree, swaying in the wind. Nice.
A Joshua tree?
You nailed it on the Terrence Malik influence
Beautiful Master Piece. Harrelson touches us without words. Bono have never sang so good.
Woody's acting made this video the way it perceived. Great actor work, U-2 =the best and of course all the team. Just... THANK YOU!
My dad has spent my entire my life in prison, I've never met him. Maybe someday I will. A song for someone.. there is a light, you can't always see. There's a world we can't always be.
future_Tarzan well you ever meet him ????
future_Tarzan do you want to see him? Are you ready? I hope that it is healing for both of you!
MAKE A EFFORT TO REACH HIM, MAKE CONTACT. GET HIS MEDICAL HISTORY, GO SEE HIM.
Here’s a story......so my relationship with my brother was so and so racked three instances of crappy police trials with domestic violence/Parents seperated and
Brother got busted for speeding so much he did weekends and he got so mad at me over it since we lived together and so hated all of that he couldn’t wait to see me get into trouble that he went out of his way to tell me .......I’ve been to jail but no longer then 9 days but I can tell you it makes you feel like shit inside and especially all the Hastle that comes along with it not just being there but having a record and actually my best friend when to prison for two years trying to help his kid from choking then during the duration my brother had the Jezebel spirit and tried his hardest to see we fight and I go to jail that he even said he can’t wait to see me behind bars like my best friend....When people and family members or friends really don’t understand or care it hurts deep down inside so Incant imagine some people what they go through especially if they are really innocent in ways like I felt and they had to serve time anyway aslo just like my best friend Robi..His daughter also had to grow up while he was there the first two years of his life and I suffered from a torn brother brother relationship and with my parents deeply as well and myself wich hurt me all over for years and still does......when life doesn’t go to good I can tell you it hurts..I also had a neighbor who’s son died in a car accident after some family issues he was having and loss of his private business and discovery of cancer and multiple heart attacks....That guys heart is huge and that really was sad to watch him suffer..Seemed like everyone around me was going through something in some way.Even my other friend who’s son of the lady this guy was dating was talking to me about court and jail and as he drove off drunk crash wrecked the poor guys work van through a sheriffs yard and tree and ended up in jail for maybe the 6th dui and he is a year younger then me at the time.Lost houses and relationships due to drinking and driving/depression.Now to mention recently my dad ended up in jail after I use to drive him home from the bar and I was out Uber driving he slipped up and ended up in the county jail for a dui...he’s been hangin on the bottle ever since the divorce even before but worse now that to the point Im not sure if he’s mentally all there......I don’t even trust him..
future_Tarzan that’s horrible. We all need a father in our lives. Maybe, you can be a better father to a son or daughter. Break the cycle. Give your father a chance. He may need a break.
Just want to say to Woody. I live in Taiwan, a small island. Yet, watched your every movie. Love your acts deeply into the characters.
Ennyi az ember - Csodálatos!
Ah, U2... I love your songs. Thank you.
A great beautiful song of U2 among all their masterpieces ! Love U2.
The title of this song is what got my attention. IMO it embodies the meaning of the word ‘music’. There IS a ‘song for everyone’, regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, gender, etc. It’s something that everyone can find in a song/music that they can relate to on a personal level! * Being a long time listener of U2 and Bono over the many years that I’ve been listening to them (I’m going on 70) I never heard this one before today.
go U2! To me you guys are the best band ever, I love you! Beautiful Day was the song that was playing when I was born! I love you!
Beautiful song. And so much emotion in Woody's performance. With so few words. Now that's acting.
How good is that moment when he is out of the gate. That one fine moment. Powerful.
That feeling is great yet terrifying. Fresh air, new beginnings, uncertainty, excitement. Then reality kicks in and you remember your still on parole.

Amazing. U2 are true living legends. Their songs have always so much energy. Bono just has the most beautiful and powerful voice on earth
This video fits so well with this song and also captures the essence of the lyrics. Every time I listen to this song, I indeed think of this video.
Beautiful short film and music video. ❤
Woody is such a brilliant actor. His face can always tell the whole story. And this story was personal for him.
Flower 🌼 🌸 🌻 I hear vibrations this came to mind..........😊
Forgiveness is so Beautiful .
Absolutely good song, Woody Harrelson acting amazing and his look at the last scene...
I love you Woody Harelson ❤..my most favorite actor.. You should get great recognition. Cheers! 😊
Watching that always tears me apart. So little words - so many emotions. Masterpiece.
Woody Harrelson is the MAN -always
stay strong all of you on the edge of darkness, there is light ahead!
With my deepest Respects.
what a beautiful song and woody what a legend😍👌
That little moment at 3:35 was a masterpiece; he sees the younger kid, probably reminding him of himself 20 or 30 years prior, just walking in after having done what we he’d done. The way he looks at him like he wants to say something to him but doesn’t have time and can’t even find the right words. Perfect.
Well spotted
This is so beautiful.. Bono sings like an angel ❤️ Life can throw us curveballs. We can accept it or leave it.
I worked for 27 years and still
I feel so tired but I will fight for my children. This song bring me so much energy to continue.
This is the best song from their new album.
Well I say no more, just pure class
Yes I'm proud to be from Ireland U2 my favorite band I'm Irish and so proud 😊 rock on U2
Quelle magnifique chanson !!! Je ne m'en lasse pas malgré que je l'écoute tous les jours
