Wow.... Wow ... Wow...!!! absolutely one of the coolest updates you are doing fantastic with this year's grow, you have so many very green and healthy plants they are growing wonderfully even though there are a few that are struggling for various reasons but overall this looks like a fantastic year for you, now as far as rain goes let's see how this all turns out we all know that when rain is over done it brings up issues that have to be dealt with of all the channels I watch you have a fantastic variety of plants, and you are taking care of them very well. There were so many varieties that you mentioned in this video, and that's awesome you have a lot of variety and you are willing to try anything and I think that's great as I said Texas is the tough place at times to grow things but what looks like this year you are doing so well, but so the weather that is coming will not cause problems. I saw things that I'm using to grow my plants like the tomato cages, but this time I noticed you were using them for pepper plants the few plants that I have growing if they need a cage like that I am going to do it I have plenty of those cages, and the resourcefulness to continue to find ways to grow healthy plants my eyeballs are clued in on your methods. I can't name another grower that has the variety of plants you are growing not only peppers but other things and vegetables, don't laugh but personally I like peppers that are pretty much ready to eat right off the bush fresh and is something others won't find scary to the because of heat levels.... You mentioned lunchbox peppers I have been very very very excited about a local company in the Coachella Valley growing what I believe are called lunchbox peppers they come in many colors they don't have any heat but they are so doggone good to eat right out of the bag they come in they have such a good flavor nothing bitter about them like eating a bell pepper, I cannot express my enthusiasm for this type of pepper I hope my terminology and understanding of the exact variety of this pepper being grown locally on a commercial basis is the same one, my wife likes these peppers and we put them in as many food items that we can. She actually saved some of the seeds and wants me to give them a try to see if I can grow some will see how that works out. Yes I'm excited to have you show us some of the peppers when they start to mature. Man, this video has so much in it that we will talk about in the future. Absolutely great update thank you for taking the time.... Those of us who are actually doing some growing can see what can be done if you put a little bit of thought and planning. Sorry for my lengthy comment but sometimes when I see things like this I get excited 🙂
Thank you so much, I hated to hurry the video but crazy storms on the way, earlier ones were loaded with hail, got as close as Arlington. Fortunately we've been lucky but as I'm responding more cells headed this way. Dealing with the heat we added the water cooler to the high tunnel as well as a watering system set on timers and misters too. Soon we'll have to take plastic off sides to let it be somewhat open besides the cover. Appreciate you watching and as long as weather permits another video real soon.
