In 1969, the E Type Jaguar graced the roads, an automotive marvel so enchanting that even Enzo Ferrari once reputedly declared it “the most beautiful car ever made.” Dive deep into a meticulous restoration journey as we show the process behind stripping the multiple layers of paint and spray putty from this classic's bonnet.
Utilizing the Cooper’s Paint & Varnish Stripping Products, witness the efficacy as, in a mere 20 minutes, several applications of Cooper’s Stripper effortlessly removed the numerous paint coats and most of the spray putty right down to the steel. Observe the subsequent removal of the residual putty, achieved through the gentle abrasion of a stripper-infused steel wool scrubbing. Concluding the process, the application of Cooper’s Flusher eradicates the last remnants of old paint and putty. The end result? A pristine surface, ready for a fresh finish, negating the need for any sanding unless underlying damage is discovered that necessitates prior repairs.
A tip of the hat to Warren from Auckland for graciously allowing the Cooper’s Strip Club to strip the bonnet of his beautiful Jaguar.

Great product combo. I tell everyone on TH-cam faced with paint removal about your product, videos, website and phone number. It is better that throw a find dust all over tools in the garage. People say I hang plastic and wash the floor. I tell them, you could have been over half way done. I will say one thing, he has elbows!!! An injury 53 years ago is causing bad bad pain now after fixing cars since well before 78 when I passed 8 test one night and became a certified master tech. Now, one elbow completely shot, back in serious pain and cain in hand, now good elbow is hurting like a nail stuck in it. Keep up the good work. DK, Omaha.

Do you have a SDS? Without it, we cannot legally use this amazing product. The staff cannot be exposed to any chemical that we do not have an SDS on file. Very IMPORTANT please. Thanks.

This is not a great product - it is the BEST, but I was also wondering about the SDS. Not only for those using it, but also for first responders. Some products that seem benign can be carcinogenic, or cause other health issues, or become a 'nightmare' to deal with for first responders. I am not wanting to 'scaremonger', but without knowing the active ingredients, and therefore being able to ensure proper protection, I am completely in the 'dark' if it is hazardous, or it reacts violently with other chemicals etc etc. This Coopers is a great product and nothing compares to it - NOTHING (and the people running the business are genuine nice people)t, and I would not even bother to consider using anything else, but the manufacturer needs to ensure the active ingredients are listed, and the SDS are available. Also as a qualified OHS 'expert', if there is no SDS, both the manufacturer and business using it are 'playing with fire' if there is an incident and people are injured as a result. Also, people want to go home to their families at the end of the day and know that they are not risking their health. Read the labels and SDS of the 'old school' (and DANGOUS paint strippers). The Coopers product truly is the BEST paint stripper anywhere in the world, but without an SDS...................................... And if anyone thinks this is not an 'important' subject when dealing with chemicals - I have some hexavalent chrome paint to send for your kids to play with,

Hi, there was a clear coat on top of the red, that was on top of undercoat, that was on top of spray putty, that was on top of all the original paint as well. At first glance, it looked great, but on closer inspection, the paint was failing & had to go
