its a pity you didn't have someone with more knowledge of older cars along with you. You did a good job but some of the cars are pretty easy to identify for us old blokes.
Yes would've been great to have owner with us but he wanted to remain anonymous, I bet each car has a great story to tell.
The reason these collections get so big is, firstly they don't want to part with anything (A good investment). Secondly then they want to much money for them ( Dreaming). Third: The cars become very rusty and unrestoreable. Fourth: They pass away and the cars for scrap or very cheap. I am nearly 80 and seen this many...,many times.
Each to their own I guess, thanks for watching appreciate it.
@@davidhusband5022 As you can see most of these cars are actually in great condition. Maybe in the future they can be saved.
So true.
Proof that the more sheds you have, the more things you find to place in them.
Very true
Makes me feel much better watching this. I get called a Gunna because I start projects and then I am Gunna finish em. This guy just keeps collecting projects.
Haha, love the positive thoughts, thanks for watching, appreciate it!
🤣😂he aint gunna nuthin m8....🤣😂
Adelaide has alot of hidden gems thanks for showing !
Thanks for supporting us ❤️
😂 It's funny how many cars you couldn't name even with the badge in front of you, lotus Europa s2 (u-rope-a) and other very rare racing and fibreglass cars preserved by a passionate person, thank you and the owner for sharing 😊
Haha yeah was a struggle. Thanks for watching appreciate it.
@ 15.26 IT IS NOT A CATAMARAN…. Do you see a mast and sails? It’s a CATERHAM.
Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me) 🤣🤣 thanks for watching appreciate it.
I can’t believe how many times you say “cool”, but great vid. Thanks for sharing
Broke the record I think 😂😂 thanks for watching
Great collection but they need to be rescued. Wow amazing collection
Agreed 100%
the 'Scimitar' is actually a Reliant Scimitar GTE, and English fibreglass car usually running Ford Capri V6 gear. Made by the same people that made the horrendous 3 wheeled Reliant Robin
Such a beautiful unique car, one of our favourites. ❤️
That is a stupid crazy collection of cars and other Junk. These places are just mindblowing! Thanks for showing us around. Its sad really, that one hoarding person robs so many others of a chance to have just one hobby project to enjoy. Ah well, its just how it is.
100% agree, appreciate the support thanks
Not entirely true. If this gentlemen and others like him, hadn't collected these cars, many of them would have gone to scrap and simply not exist. (perhaps reborn as a Hyundai). Plus he does sell....you could contact him through this presenter.
@@stevemcc6114 great comment! Yes, you are spot on, he has saved these cars. He does not 'part them out' as many others have done. And I have met him, he is very passionate about these cars. This is his passion and his hobby. He will sell and he is very welcoming to fellow car enthusiasts.
You should try to watch it on a big screen TV absolutely insane well done fellas👌
Thanks legend we appreciate the ongoing support it doesn't go unnoticed ❤️
I'm certain that the mentality of people who collect so many cars is that "I have it and you don't". Yes, the cars are theirs to do with as they wish but it's enough to make a grown man cry, to see vehicles sitting there unloved and rusting away.
I think it's more of collecting getting out of hand, as this person is very private.
I recognize many of these cars from British TV shows of the 60s to the 80s, I suspect that most of them were purchased by young single guys with plenty of money to spend back in times when life was simpler and cost of living was cheap. I expect they had some very good times in those cars and would have some great stories to tell. although most of them would by now be either deceased or too elderly to drive. My favourites the XJS Jag and the Triumph Stag. cant see even one single dollar in value there, everything looks too far gone and most are too obscure to even be remembered. Perhaps some clever person with artistic flair and tools might be able to repurpose some of them into custom furniture or garden art? Imagine a unique sofa, coffee table, bbq or cocktail bar, if done right they could sell for $hundreds.
Thanks for watching appreciate it
This is totally crazy .....Total fire hazzard
haha, Well it's lasted 40 years hopefully another 40.
It is amazing what one man can collect during his lifetime. I have no idea what many of these cars were, but a truly incredible collection ,by an obviously very passionate man.
Thanks for sharing the video mate.
Thanks legend appreciate you watching, thanks.
Good video lads, always something different. You guys are doing great. Keep up the good content ❤
Thanks so much for your ongoing support we really appreciate it ❤️
Thanks fellas! Appreciate your time n effort! Enjoy having a sticky beak with ya ! New sub
Thanks for the support Legend ❤️
I went to a place outside of Adelaide about 10 year's ago with a mate who was buying new old stock for a ford xp coupe and the old fella who owned the property had his own personal car museum/man cave! It was awesome! But this place looks like that place times 100!! 😮
So very cool love it.
Amazing stuff, the only thing of value is the land. the value has probably increased at least tenfold since the 1st car was dumped. There would be a lot of scrap metal value there but the labour required to clean it up would wipe out any profit.
Only worth what someone is willing to pay. Owner never did it for the money only for the love. Thanks for watching
Awesome content,thanks for sharing it
Thanks legend appreciate the support ❤️
Seeing is believing and I still can't believe what I'm seeing. Jaw dropping. So many of their cars need saving. Great vid and I enjoy the easy going style. I'm sure the various experts can tell us what each and every car is in the comments hopefully. Cheers
Thanks mate, really appreciate it.
Oh man that yellow lotus is definitely my jam as well lol its actually amazing 😍😍
Love it, thanks the support
Very Nice Find!!
Thanks for watching.
Keep up the good work boys 🔥
Thanks legend ❤️
You could, if the time is with you, split this video into multiple episodes and gone little more into each car.
Reminds me of Barn Find Hunter in the US.
Great job guys.
Ps, i think i know of this place, if it's the one i'm thinking of, a mate lives up the road from here, been intrigued by this place and the cars for a long time, thankyou for sharing, hopefully one day i will get a chance to visit it aswell. 👌
Agreed, would've been awesome, unfortunately we were given strict access and time. Appreciate you watching ❤️
@@onemoreflip cheers for sharing, maybe one day, maybe i could be so lucky.
Thank You for the tour of the Barn find, that is amazing collection of cars 😲 nsw
Thanks for watching appreciate it.
The Yellow Renault falling through the floor is a Renault 17 Tl, and the Green Lotus in front of the black one is a Lotus Europa
Thanks for information legend appreciate it ❤️
@@onemoreflip The silver car you couldn't get to at 24:30 was a Citroen BX, the little sister to the CX (Pallas being the spec) with the single spoke wheel, both have adjustable hydropneumatic suspension.
@@Larkful_Dodger Such a unique car, loved it!
Amazing
Very much so, my brain couldn't take it all in at once. ❤️
Spotted an Anglia convertible ! I grew up with these cars in the UK but never seen a convertible one !
@@stevewells-nx8nx thanks for watching appreciate it
Sick video once again, I think I’ve also found my dream property 😍
We can all live here 😂😂
@@onemoreflip 😂🙌🏽
Crazy
One word to describe it. ❤️
And I thought my workshop was a mess. Hahaha😂
Haha
Wow. Lightburn Zeta made in Adelaide @ 34:04. What a place...some of that stuff would take weeks to get out of there.
Thanks for the information really appreciate it ❤️
That company made washing machines and small concrete mixers IIRC.
would love to see more of the cream and blue Austin Cambridge you walked past! had one the same colours as my first car! never saw any the same colours before in South Australia! Awesome cars there!
Sorry mate, we were pushing for time and honestly we skipped a few cars to stay on track. If we ever go back in the future happy to get more info/video etc thanks
@@onemoreflip No stress there! you guys are doing great! was awesome to see all the other cars. The Austin is one car that I always wanted to get again. Probably could spend days at this guys property just looking at everything!
@@onemoreflip If you ever do get a chance to ask about that one and if he would consider letting some one look at it that would be awesome! no stress on that though!
@@paulolafsen9749 Will try our best
Thanks for sharing. Unbelievable.
Thanks for the support ❤️
What baffles me is that when cars are shelved like this they are on a path to degradation and dust to dust. They all deserve restoration and a loving owner.
Agree, thanks for watching appreciate it.
@@onemoreflip Enjoy your productions, may you keep it up.
We all know the biggest collection would probably be flynns but when i turned 18 a couple months ago i went hunting for a valiant and found a massive hidden collection of mostly valiants. I wish i took photos there was probably 300 or so vals
Everyone knows of Flynns, impressive collection. This collection is not so well known, appreciate the feedback.
I would love that yellow Renault 17, been looking for one for years. I used to see a white one on North Terrace years ago.
Yes great car.
@@onemoreflip I would buy it in a heartbeat, hopefully it doesn’t fall totally through the floor.
The open wheeled formula cars are interesting 😁
lot's of history
Owner must of been a towie.
Most of the cars are renowned for being unreliable.
I thought I had a problem with 5 cars. Have to share vid with my peers.
Great work.
Thanks for watching appreciate it ❤️
I am surprised you didn't come across any snakes.
Same here, thanks for watching appreciate it ❤️
Amazing hoarder's collection. Some fabulous cars (and some junk). The owner has good and broad taste in cars. More cars and parts than anyone could ever do anything with - except hoard them. Will never actually sell anything of course, because then he wouldn't have it any more. Maybe some of the cars will be saved one day... Gotta hope so.
One man's trash is another's treasure.
The blue 2 door next to the vx commodore looks like a Triumph herald, the red convertible next to the jag xjs looks like an Alfa spider, I would love the red Citroen DS😊
Thanks for the information, appreciate it.
It's an Alfa spider for sure.
I've seen some barns in my time and one (In Adelaide) when I lived at Tea Tree Gully was the memorable one with many old Pommy euro cars like your video but as I was about to walk out after giving up we found a car covered up with hessian bags ,,,, Was 1967 XR Fairmont 289 and complete straight no rust but unfortunately was not for sale I call these guys hoarders and they end up with what we see here in this vid,
Such a waste but great look and thanks guys for sharing
Thanks for watching appreciate it ❤️
Great video guys.
I’d be interested in the FC Holden
Thanks, not sure if for sale.
@@onemoreflip thanks mate worth a shot
Appreciate the video boys. It just keeps going and going!
Mind blown, thanks Legends ❤️
At least this stuff is undercover
Agreed and all in decent condition besides the dust.
These all needa get saved id put the work in just to move em all out n save em 😂
Would be a mission. Thanks for watching
Lotus Europa , & Elites in abundance. Lotus stands for , Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious .
Very
Someone else did mention.thanks.
23:25 That is a Peugeot 604, again very rare car... Really top of the line Peugeot and very weirdly "square everything" car lol
Great looking car
the small fastback you liked is a Triumph herald.
Thanks legend, such a good looking car. Thanks for watching appreciate it ❤️
So much stuff
Very cool stuff, thanks for watching.
They could have made a museum out of it, and there were so many rare classic European cars.
100% agree
2:49 rhats a Fiat 130 sedan . Very rare car today and powered with a V6 .you missed the 1920's Bentley radiator.😅$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Thanks for the info
@@onemoreflip I only saw it second time watching this!
22:33 Triumpth Vitesse Coupe! Very rare!
Most likely imported privately!
Beautiful car.
It's a Herald coupe. There were no Vitesse coupes.
Great video. I’d love to discuss with you what might be for sale as I’m looking for a project… I’m located in Strathalbyn.
Hey mate, not much at this stage unfortunately. Thanks
Treasure Trove! Should Get World Wide Attention! 👍
Thanks legend appreciate the support ❤️
42:58 That is a VERY RARE (in Australia), Very rare Citroen AX only very few were sold to test the market but didn't sell well... However they were more powerful than usual ones sold in Europe!
Such a unique beautiful car, appreciate the information ❤️
11:41 That one is a Renault 4cv (as in 4 hours power) and is only about 750cc engine! (Rear engine of course!)
Wowzers
Hey fellas am into Triumphs and was wondering if I can have some contact details if any are for sale, also saw some rootes group cars Hillman and Singer are any of them up for sale. Enjoyed your tour and was glad to see that collecting is a way of life not an antisocial pursuit. Cheers from Pete.
Hey Pete, thanks for watching appreciate it, unfortunately nothing is for sale at the moment.
O k cheers if they do come up would be interested in having chance to snag a car in future. That Honda you saw was either S 600 or 800, very interesting little bus only second to Honda 1300 coupe, a cool under rated car. Hey did really enjoy your tour so good luck finding others. Cheers
That shed looks like my place, just minus the cars.
Hahaha same boat 😭
24"33 That is a Citroen BX with cool hydrolic suspension as most of them are...
One of our favorites ❤
Cx was better
How did the cars get there in the first place, over how many years? And why. So many questions. 😊
Over 40 years of collecting. Thanks for watching
Just out of curiosity, was the lotus esprit turbo for sale? If so did you get a price?
We are not sure, was overwhelmed and forgot to ask.
Are there any old bicycles out there? I'd be keen to buy some if there are.
Hi mate, not sure bikes are for sale, appreciate you watching.
Bloody hoarder. He'll never let any of those cars go.
You never know 🫣
the TOWKING
My Man!!!!
Hey guys I have 5 cars I'm restoring from the late 30s to the early 60s and I need parts do you have a contact for this guy. I am in country South Australia. cheers Darren
Unfortunately nothing for sale atm unfortunately. 😭
20:09 Re looking at that I think it's an early Alfa Romeo Spider (Duetto)...?
Yes someone did say it was an Alfa
Looks more like a US series 2 kammtail Spider that has been converted to RHD
As amazing as the car collection is, I'd be worried about snakes.
Yer we were on the look out, thanks for watching appreciate it ❤️
Adelaide is the Mecca the holy grail land of classic car that’s why to me Adelaide is the best place in the world
Agreed, thanks for watching
@@onemoreflip thank you for filming registering and sharing Adelaide rich car cultural history I do appreciate it mate !
Great old Jags any for sale ?Im after 1965 S Type Jag front wings (guards)
Not for sale unfortunately. Thanks for watching appreciate it.
Great viewing tho 👍
Thanks appreciate it.
Purvis Eureka ! (Aka Sterling Nova )
Haha
I am surprised you didn't recognize the Alfa Spider.
Yes unfortunately a bit before my time and also being blown away by all the other cars ❤️
any chance of a story on how this creation was " amassed " eg. generational hand me downs ? generational inheritance ?, how ?
Yeah I was thinking that too, be cool to find a story and the history of the cars
Great question, how I know him is through my dad (Jayden's grandad) which had a car yard from the 80s and the owner of the property was a friend of his. He used to buy a lot of cars from the caryard back row or trade ins. He is a avid kit car and race car collector. All cars he has collected and dragged back home for the last 50 years he is in his late 70's. One man band that loves cars.
@@onemoreflip that’s rad 🤙🏽
There was a video done on this collection on the ABC Collectors series....15 odd years ago, can't immediately find a link to it. This collection is one mans effort...his daughter is also into the old cars. He also built the house you see in the background at the start of the video.
Is there a list of cars for sale? I would love to see what English project cars might be available.
Unfortunately nothing for sale atm. Thanks for watching.
With that amount of junk everywhere you can tell nothing is for sale. He's a hoarder, hoarders sell nothing, it's a terrible mental problem. I bet inside the house would look the same.
I'd love to purchase an old British car for restoration. An Austin or early 1960s Jag or Rover.
Thanks for watching appreciate it.
How much triumph stag?
Unfortunately didn't ask about this one.
The day's of payment by cash will soon disappear..... bank's want to know where money came from....
Best to sell off now.
Agreed
I saw an Austin A90 Atlantic. I want it.
We need all the cars!
I want the mini
Sorry we didn't get much footage of that 🥲
Nice, you mentioned cars for sale, how to contact?, cheers
You can contact us on our socials as linked in video. Thanks
It's discusting when people hoard these cars, seemingly clueless to there value and just forget them and let them rot and to make matters worse they cover them in all kinds of shit causing them to degrade making them impossible to restore unless you have really deep pockets full of money. These people destroy the cars and then when someone offers to buy one they have the nerve to ask a ridiculous price to sell it?
100% appreciate you watching thanks.
When this finally gets cleared out it will take two months to catalogue everything.
Maybe a few years 😂😂
Google earth here I go😂
Lol
Found it!!
Have a mate who lost 90% of his 'collection' to a bushfire. Mostly Volvos, Sigmas, VW combi, schoolbus, trucks etc.
Wow not good, aslong as your mate is ok that's all that matters.
The claim on the scimitar is they went from 0 to 60 miles per hr in 8.5 seconds
Quick back then ❤️
Yes, they were so fast. And mind bendingly fun to drive through New Zealand mountain passes.
34.43 is a blue Renault Laguna - stupidly rare in Australia.
Wow, thanks for the support Legend
Citroën. Pronounced "sitrone".
Cool ffs
Did you count them? 🫣
Mental illness creates some fascinating collections. One or two cars there I'd love to buy. I guess it's a case that his offspring will have to deal with when he dies.
Thanks for watching appreciate it.
Theirs has to be more than one generation of hoarding here .
Same person 40 plus years, thanks for watching
A drone would have been handy
True
You don’t need it….Hahaha
The PEN is BLUEEEEEE, I need it!!
The pen is RED haha 😂
@@rachking7182 🤣🤣
Absolutely a mess 😟so unfortunately a mess and they will never see the road again 😟.
Hopefully one day they will. Thanks for watching appreciate it.
27:28 That is an Austin Allegro!
NEVER sold in Australia and very unpopular car in the UK but was in production for 10 years... Was sold in NZ but how did that come to Australia is beyond me... Although there is a cult following now, but It's WHY is it here!?
Had no idea, good pick up.
Remember. Lotus, Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious. Lotus
Haha true
Red kit car-early bolwell?
Actually now you mention it, I'm sure that's what the badge was 🤯
@@onemoreflip not a Bolwell, my first thought was a JWF (Australian) with a few mods but the twin cam motor was not normal in them.
@@andrewpugsley9393 Wow learning some new stuff, absolute legends, love the knowledge ❤
It’s actually a Shelby Daytona kit car or if an original it would be worth billions would post a photo if I could , afx make a slot car of it
@@ClarkLuckman it does look a bit like it, different rear window, the red one has a boot and side window different and looks like it has a Jag motor in it. I'm thinking it's a one off special or a pommy kit car like some of the others in the collection.
