Not only does she demonstrate her versatility on the Beste Zangers show listen to Nightwish. May not be your type of music but the chemistry and versatility of her voice will bring out emotions.

It is hard for me to pick my favorite Floor Best Zanger. I guess I was most shocked by Que Se Sienti. I think that is how it is spelled lol. and yes, Floor is a beautiful person inside and out. Always so humble and loving. I think the thing I love most about her is her ability to remain grounded. She and her Husband are both very successful yet they live in a fairly quaint cottage out in the middle of nowhere with their daughter and pets.

I think there will probably come a few other reactions to Beste Zangers, as there are unbelievably good performers and performances. Especially Henk Poort's Sound of Silence. Like in this TV show: operetta, folk, salsa, country, pop, musical... And always on TOP level! When you go more deeper, comes also classical, opera, rock, metal - just name it, she always nail it.

She had some things going on in her past - who didn't - , that's true. Like being bullied at school (she stood out, was shy, didn't had the local accent and she's tall, even for Dutch standards) and later a burnout, which made her impossible to do anything, even singing. Not sure if it has anything to do with her capability to express emotions, but she is always open about it and it probably made her a stronger woman. For Beste Zangers I would wait for Phantom of the Opera, as it was in fact her last performance. At the time we knew beforehand she would sing it (because of the playlist on the CD) and it was worth the wait. But it's your channel, right?

I lost my mom last year due to severe blood infection. When I heard this the first time from Denise who translated the whole show..you can't even believe how it annihilated me, I cried like half an hour in the office. Great reaction video, keep it up! Subbed.

Thanks for the lovely reactions! Very insightful. The one thing I would like to add is that they didn't underestimate her. I mean, it's a show with amazing artists, from different genres. You may not like all genres, I for one didn't really appreciate Ralf or the youngest guy on the couch, hahaha, his name slipped my mind, but I definitely got to see how amazing they all are. But i do think they didn't realise upfront how truly versatile she is and that she surpassed their expectations :)

In Dutch this kind of song is called a “Smartlap” : The word refers to something like a handkerchief you cry in, dry your tears with. Dutch singers are very good in that genre. Expressing hurting inside and belching it out. We had had a singer called ‘Andre Hazes’ who made this his speciality. Half of the people in the Netherlands cried when he sang and made the other half angry (probably because they could not admit they too felt it inside). Floor is a very skilled singer and very good in expressing the story of a song. Luckily for Floor she is the lead singer of Nightwish, something she likes a lot and where she use the same skillset to the extent every time she performs. (Luckily no Dutch style “Smartlappen”.)

It's going to be exciting watching you when you get to Nightwish. What's awesome about watching people react to Beste Zangers I think is that the people on the show are reacting too. In the full episodes after some performances the other singers describe feeling overwhelmed. You'll see plenty of crying from them on Floor's other performances. Even Henk teared up a bit when she sang Vilja Lied to him (a song his mother sang to him when he was a boy). But when you get to Ghost Love Score live from Wacken you are gonna be pretty impressed, hehe

Well, Samantha, the older blonde and Floor have apparently had similar struggles with their moms due to different things, so, it's different but the same. That probably really upped the emotion levels for her. Fun little note, Floor and Tim Akkerman made me like the song Shallow, and I was never crazy about it before

The great thing about being on TH-cam when you suffer from anxiety is that you can talk to an audience without actually having to be in the presence of other people... without actually having to look them in the eye. It's quite liberating! Do not be afraid to look at the camera. Do not be afraid of what's out there, because I can tell you right now - there's good out there, and there's bad out there. Either way, you're safe behind the camera and you don't have to read comments if you are feeling particularly vulnerable. Thanks for the lovely reactions! Very insightful. The one thing I would like to add is that they didn't underestimate her. I mean, it's a show with amazing artists, from different genres. You may not like all genres, I for one didn't really appreciate Ralf or the youngest guy on the couch, hahaha, his name slipped my mind, but I definitely got to see how amazing they all are. But i do think they didn't realise upfront how truly versatile she is and that she surpassed their expectations :)

The woman in red is the original singer for this song. She wrote it as a way to reconnect with her mother. Floor did a beautiful rendition of this song. You are so correct about Floor! She is a beautiful woman inside and out. She loves her fans and when you learn more about her you will see yourself. In Dutch this kind of song is called a “Smartlap” : The word refers to something like a handkerchief you cry in, dry your tears with. Dutch singers are very good in that genre. Expressing hurting inside and belching it out. We had had a singer called ‘Andre Hazes’ who made this his speciality. Half of the people in the Netherlands cried when he sang and made the other half angry (probably because they could not admit they too felt it inside). Floor is a very skilled singer and very good in expressing the story of a song. Luckily for Floor she is the lead singer of Nightwish, something she likes a lot and where she use the same skillset to the extent every time she performs. (Luckily no Dutch style “Smartlappen”.)

It's going to be exciting watching you when you get to Nightwish. What's awesome about watching people react to Beste Zangers I think is that the people on the show are reacting too. In the full episodes after some performances the other singers describe feeling overwhelmed. You'll see plenty of crying from them on Floor's other performances. Even Henk teared up a bit when she sang Vilja Lied to him (a song his mother sang to him when he was a boy). But when you get to Ghost Love Score live from Wacken you are gonna be pretty impressed, hehe

Well, Samantha, the older blonde and Floor have apparently had similar struggles with their moms due to different things, so, it's different but the same. That probably really upped the emotion levels for her. Fun little note, Floor and Tim Akkerman made me like the song Shallow, and I was never crazy about it before

The great thing about being on TH-cam when you suffer from anxiety is that you can talk to an audience without actually having to be in the presence of other people... without actually having to look them in the eye. It's quite liberating! Do not be afraid to look at the camera. Do not be afraid of what's out there, because I can tell you right now - there's good out there, and there's bad out there. Either way, you're safe behind the camera and you don't have to read comments if you are feeling particularly vulnerable. There are plenty of us out here in the cyber world that truly understand your struggle. 🤘😊
