Shinji and Akihiko's got me crying as well
Whoever choreographed the fevers, mega props. They each show his relationship with his different dance partners, or his relationship with himself. With Yuki they’re almost on the same wavelength, but at the same time they can’t really understand each other. With Akihiko they both almost know what the other will do, and they are in synch almost the entire time, even to the point of where they link arms showing their bond, and even when they aren’t together, they have a feeling of protection over each other. With Mitsuru it kind of shows how she sees him as equal, while he sees her as still being a bit royal and a bit above himself, yet they still support each other. With Ken it kind of shows how they each hold some regrets, yet still understand each other in a way that would be impossible with anyone else.
TLDR: IT’S INTENSE BRO SHINJI’S SECRET DIARY IS O P E N AND READY TO BE READ
I kind've saw Mitsuru's dance as being caught up in her own problems and naivety to really notice or care about what Shinjiro was going through. Once she joins up in hands with him, it's already too late to save him, and she's running not only from him and his death, but also all the other problems that fall down around her.
But that's why dance is so mesmerizing- everyone can have their own unique interpretation of it. I like yours just as much as I like mine.
I like how it seemed like towards the very end Ken tried to reach out to Shinjiro but it was already too late.
For the Yuki one,I think the same wavelength is due to Yuki being on the same reality of the fact that they’ll both die very soon,with Shinji on the persona suppressor drugs that essentially turn him into a cold blooded guy who has to wear his coat and hat to constantly stay warm and is at the mercy of the side effects of the drug.While Yuki just knows he’ll die in a year anyway.
To go along with akihiko and shinjiro, while they're in sync almost the entire time, there are times they slowly fall out of that. Their personas are brothers, castor being mortal and polydueces being immortal. They're integral to the others life but there's so much tension between the two like when akihiko finds out about the suppressants, and in shinjiros link he tells you akihiko punched him for saying he's too reckless

I like to think that Makoto’s dance is also symbolic with their relationship in the story. Makoto and Shinjiro barely interact with each other in the main story. The only time they really do is when Akihiko brings Makoto to recruit Shinjiro, which is when he asks Yuki “what exactly are you fighting for” - then the story with Shinjiro unfolds and Makoto is largely uninvolved in the events leading up to his death.
They don’t acknowledge each other in the dance; only those brief glances they give each other as Makoto enters but they both immediately look away afterwards. Yet they do the same moves, and dance in sync because they share the same fate.
All of Shinjiro’s other partner dances portray his relationship and connection with those characters really well so I like that it’s consistent, even if there isn’t really much between those two characters in particular.
As well, note that Minato/Makoto follows in Shinjiro’s footsteps… both literally, and metaphorically, dying as well.

I do like how they gave him a wild, but restrained style, especially in his duets, showing how hard it is to control his Persona, even with his friends by his side.
Also, his dance with Ken is just a big gut punch of emotion.

@@haloemblemproductions9954 It's not a sickness, it's the result of the pills to artificially control a Persona. The pills allow the person to wield control over their Persona and keep it restrained but the pills slowly kill you and the user becomes reliant on them, making the Persona go berserk if said pills are not taken at regular intervals.
while Shinji was able to manifest and control a Persona the normal way, the shock of accidentally killing an innocent civilian during battle caused him to lose his original control over it. This led him to take the pills and quit SEES before the start of the game.

I like how the choreographer portrayed that He lost control of his persona momentarily and caused someone’s death and he constantly struggle against the guilt he Killed someone, but in the end he decided to get back up and fight despite his Weakened state

At 2:09 if you pause and look at Yuki and Shinji's duet, they are taking the poses they had the moment their fates were sealed. Yuki is performing the Great Seal for the sake of all humanity, while it looks as if Shinji has just taken a bullet for the sake of one child. They share similar fates and die for the same cause, and I think their dance conveyed this perfectly.
Or I could just be reading too much into it, who knows.

P3P FeMC has officially been given the name "Kotone Shiomi" for the first time (same name as the stage show). The 1st Puzzle & Dragons x Persona collaboration also had the official protag. names, such as :Makoto Yuki:, "Yu Narukami", and "Ren Amamiya".
It would be heartbreaking considering Shinjiro is a romance option for her.
THE FACE MODELS DURING KEN'S FEVER REALLY ACCENTUATE THE FEELS HOLY CRAP... and the way the reach out only to pass each other shows that missed connection they could have had... :(

P5 was my first Persona game. Played P5 Dancing because it was the only game in the collection I finished. This was the DLC song for the collection. I played it thinking, “that’s cool. I wish I knew anything about them.”
I’m not long after it happens in P3. Coming back here it’s like, “there is so much storytelling going on it may as well be tagged as spoilers.”
I don’t think any of the P5 dances come anywhere close to this.

I think my favorite part about this dance is that while usually Makoto has top notch synergy in his partner dances, and he still tries to match Shinji here, there's a strange disconnect that you really start to notice side by side with Aki's. Aki fully knows and understands Shinji so they're perfectly in sync. It's some masterful visual story-telling
Why I feel like this song does excellent job showing feelings and relationship of every available character. It just feels that they put hella lot of thought into the choreography.

I teared a tad bit at the duet dance with Ken.. But my most fav is the one with Akihiko because they're mostly in sync with each other ;w; Minato too. Mitsuru actually looks a bit cheery there o.o

Honestly all of these partners fit, But Aki's is probably my favorite one for Shinji.
I am losing my mind over that sync with Aki!!!! It is so precious and perfect and the only thing that made this video was that heart wrenching moment with Ken!!!!
Shinji protecting Makoto during their dance together shows their relationship throughout the entire game, his deep bond with Akihiko, his friendship with Mitsuru AND THE MOTHER EFFING ANGST WITH KEN. In this one goddamn dance, it tells you so much and for those of us who played Persona 3 knows how much it hurts so badly.

I know that this is old, but I'd say that Shinjiro's dance with Ken includes his death. At the very end Ken reaches out towards Shinjiroas they separate with a sad facial expression, and I believe that shows their resolution at the time of Shinjiro's death
At first I disapponted with the lack of remix but then I remembered there is one with the boy band version. Too bad he is not included in that one since he is dlc, damn it. Also I like his duet with Ken, damn feel.

They watch a movie marathon about animals I guess. It's whatever though, because Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night is the only game where you will see to corpses dancing together.
