As an electrician that does strictly remodels this is an absolute essential tool. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0vyBwjtx9GGOuiqUVT2sRoYqmDoNT_RI Being able to precision cut any material with a light weight tool is priceless.I upgraded to this Dewalt 20v from a competitor's 12v. The Dewalt 20v is just as light as the competitor's 12v. I am extremely pleased with the overall performance and battery life of this tool. As far as oscillators go, they just aren't very ergonomic tools. The dewalt oscillators have an offset handle that do make them somewhat more ergonomic than the competitors' oscillators.
Respectfully, the best multitool is the one you have on you when needed. I have several great multitools, they are wonderful. One lives in my trunk, another’s in my tool bag, and another’s in my glove box. But the one in my pocket is a Gerber Dime, super small, but it works. It excels at nothing, yet does everything well.
@@MasterYoist - LOL! I like mine! Too small for most jobs, but an extremely functional tool with a great warranty. Frequently with larger tools, I’d leave it in the car or home as they are large, so I wouldn’t have it on me when needed. The dime is so small I carry it all the time. And yes, I do occasionally need to walk to my car for a better one… but in most cases that little thing has done whatever’s needed at the time. I have bent one, broken off the blade, and both times Gerber has replaced them without question… UNLIKE LEATHERMAN.
I have one of those Schrade knives which was the last made in the U.S. They are made in China now and not as good either. I also have one of the Armbar multi-tools also and like it. Some of the other tools look nice and I have to check out some of them.
The great thing about all of these gadgets is they are all the same tools just packaged differently. That means there's no need to upgrade, which saves a lot of money. I've never felt I need anything EDC, other than my car/house keys and wallet.
Hii, welcome to the channel, thanks for the comment! That's true but depending what's your everyday needs it may come handy to have a compact one and not the big multitools, have nice day
I love how you rip off people with “forged high carbon stainless 7cr13mov “ that stuff is the worst steel ever imaginable . But the other tools are cool
I honestly don’t understand the intro with cheap Chinese Schrade. I have 1970’s Schrades that are great knives, LB7’s and a Sharpfinger. There’s a reason the “new” Schrades cost like $19 and are overpriced at that. You want a quality slipjoint buy a Case.
**SURVIVAL ⚠️ gear tip: All of the LED flashlights will be fried, destroyed when an EMP hits them 🔦 You should ALWAYS carry an incandescent type of flashlight as a backup to your LED flashlights and carry a mechanical wrist-watch as a backup to your digital watch ! *Please also research which two-way communication handheld radios cannot be destroyed by an EMP.
There is no way I could carry a regular pocket knife anymore. Because they do not lock in place. I would cut my fingers off. I've grown to depend on the locks And won't use anything else but a lock blade.
@MacGuenther My opinion of these ‘utility tools’, is that they are often crammed with rarely used bells and whistles, when they could be less crowded. I’m not saying horses don’t get stones stuck in their hooves or that i’ll never need to cut through a seatbelt while trapped in a flaming car wreck but the chances of having a multitool on my belt is fairly remote
@MacGuenther I have a small collection of Opinel No8 knives, a couple of SAKs and some other folders scattered around the place, so i’m never far from a blade. I live in rural France and having a blade with me which can be used for eg. opening grain sacks, is essential. The Victorinox Farmer is very useful, the Opinels hold a good edge, can be locked open and I really like the woods they use for their handles but they’re not that strong. So my personal ideal knife is a classic locking folder with a brass and antler handle which can be kept on my belt.
I love my Leatherman Surge... have had it for over 16 years. And others for over 38 yrs. with zero mishaps.
I've had the Leatherman super tool 200 since I was 16 and it's still serving me well
I'll stay with my Victorinox Swiss Champ I'v EDCed for 36 years. It has saved my bacon many times !
i love my victorinox ranger

Dime went in our trash, where it belongs.

I love my SOG multi-tool. carry it literally everywhere.
I do too
Man so many knives that would be great with pocket clip. Would love that armbar.
i have victorinox and letherman T4
I am European and my standard is Swiss Army Knife (SAK),that’s all.
good one
I like the wrench. The link to the septimo gives you a totally different item, what gives!!
hii, it may be because is not available right now and sends you to the most similar item available, sorry about that
Same with the Bivy. It’s been discontinued. ☹️

CRKT looks pretty cool
Yeah is an amazing one
I'm getting my Gerber Armbar Slim Drive. Should arrive in weeks
Edit: Wait no, it's actually a Gerber Armbar Drive
I pay TH-cam for no ads. WTF are these ads?
The best multi- tool hands down is Gerber MP-1. Look it up. Probably get one on eBay.
I LOVE my Gerber tools! They don’t fight you on warranty issues like Leatherman does either.

3cr13 and 5cr14 have entered the chat
No bottle cap in the world stands a chance against these elaborate contraptions.

The magnets in the Leatherman free will attract all of my iron filling
Someone did a review of that tool and covered it with iron filings and it didn't mess with it at all

There are a few boutique brands missing...
question: why doesn't the boker knife look exactly the same at the amazon store? i mean the markings on the blade are not the same.
Hi, as the desired item may not be available, amazon usually shows the most similar one, I think that's the reason.
*The ArmBar Drive need a locking drive arm.*
The Old Timer is rul prudy
Best if you're right-handed...
Wenger (not Victorinox) used to make left handed versions of their Swiss Army Knives.

It would be truly AWESOME if these were not made in China!
no SOG?
Why is a bottle opener featured as a big deal on these knives? Wasted option i think ,
Not a single one of these are left hand usable
Its not reviews, just a compilation of ads

Agreed
Not with the amount of beer I drink...
@MacGuenther have you used the cable stripper. If not, try it and see what happens.
