Deathconsciousness by every metric, is a phenomenal album. It is very well my favorite album of all time. But none of the tracks on it could ever make me feel so broken as this one. God, what a composition.
today marks 22 years since my sister passed away. she committed suicide a few days before Christmas. i still blame myself, but this song brings me comfort. it remembers me everyone has their own battles.
wow, I totally forgot about this song, I found it when it came out which was around about the same time I found Giles Corey and hanl. This is just so meaningful to me, reminds me so much of the time and place I was in nearly three years ago.

I’m not sure if I’m right but the song has two versions of Dan’s voice and throughout the the song it changes from the I would say extreme version to the more calm voice

Half of the songs are covers of other artists, and the only other HANL song on there is "Basic" which can be found on TH-cam.
