Bachelard

The Bachelard is a creek in France, in the Ubaye valley. Our put-in was at the grand pont. Half of the paddled section was in a narrow gorge with the street just aside. Most difficulties can be found there with one steeper section at the end in the village Uvernet-Fours. Class IV, but we had a low gauge. The Ubaye gauge was at 43m3. All in all a very beautiful, scenic gorge.
There was Sahara dust in the air... so no blue sky this time.
