For every rude person you will come across so many kind ones!!!! Especially when you are out in nature and camping people are usually so happy and kind! Yes! The camp host was amazing!! For all the craziness in the world there are always good people out there that are willing to help if you need it! Especially when you are in nature people tend just to be friendlier and so nice!!!!

Thanks, it was actually something Maggie went back and forth about even posting because she doesn’t get emotional like that often! But this is real life right, the good and the bad. Thankfully Donald is doing much better and back to his normal self! I am not really sure some of the rangers were very nice and told us they could but then the senior ranger “Ranger Dave” said no. Thankfully one guy said he didn’t care what the rules were he was going to give us a ride. It was definitely not the trip we planned but not everything all the time is perfect. He is so much better thanks for the concern!!! ❤️ My ankle was fine after some rest! We just went really slow in the hike it! Brandon did it in about half the time on the way out 🤣 So we took the trail from two harbors to the little harbor campground. It is part of the transcatalina island trail! It really was beautiful and the campground was amazing too!! Would definitely recommend coming here to camp and hike but maybe just leaving the dogs home for this one just in case anything were to happen! Fingers crossed this doesn’t happen again! Hopefully you guys have never been injured out on a trail! We all carry first aid kits but we don’t ever want to have to use them!!! The only thing we use a lot of tweezers to get stuff out of our feet or the dogs! Once Brandon got some cactus 🌵 stuck on his shoe not fun!!!

Hello, we are new subscribers to your channel. We are so sorry you had a horrible trip. We’ve seen a couple of y’all’s video’s and from what we can tell.. y’all are fun and happy people. So, when I saw your pain, woman to woman I felt it to. I’m sorry your baby is hurt, I pray it’s nothing to serious. I just wanted to comment and say if it is by chance his CCL, the vet will probably push surgery. Our four legged daughter (Maggie, no joke lol) tore BOTH of her CCL’s and long story short, we found a company that makes custom made dog knee braces. “Animal Ortho Care” (and no, we are not working or advertising for them). They really healed our Maggie and now she’s back to walking and without surgery!! I just felt the need to tell y’all this, just in case it is a CCL injury. Fingers crossed and prayers sent that it’s not to serious. (Not looking for likes, views or anything but if you want to see our Maggie’s injury, we have video on our page. Titled “Ouch, both loves are hurt.”) Blessings for good health to you and yours and healing for your baby. ~ Kat 💜

RV there? Oh good!! So glad to hear it’s just a pulled muscle and nothing that serious! Yes, if you’re like me (hard core dog lover and proud to say, dog mom..) you just might cry. I about did watching your fur baby and I could just relate to your worry. I adopted our Maggie from our local animal shelter when she was a baby and she is a 10 yr old mix. We really do not know what kind of breed she has in her. She’s 60 lbs but she thinks she’s the size of a Chihuahua. 😂 Again, so glad to hear it’s nothing that serious. I know we were shocked!!! If they can’t take animals you either shouldn’t allow them or say bring at own risk! With my ankle it took double the time it took Brandon and Gurley to hike out 🤣 I was definitely slow and steady! The trail itself was full sun! However they do have a shuttle service to get people to and from the campground so you wouldn’t need to hike out to it if you didn’t want to! Definitely though a misadventure for us! Oh no I just seen the end , my poor puppy pulling something. My dog when on long walks she would limp for couple days. Oh hunny I got tears in my eyes for you. Like I said I’m very proud of you and Donald for even doing what you did when hurting. Keep up the good videos. ♥️this is lady from California 😘✌🏼
Gurley crushes the hike he could hike all day!!! It is definitely his first love! Donald did so good until he just slipped on loose rock at the very end. 🥺 Thankfully he is better now back to his normal running zoomie self!!! I don’t know what was going on with the rangers a few said they could take us and then the head ranger came and said they couldn’t. I got so emotional just because I didn’t know what we were going to do. Thankfully we got a ride back and we are all safe now! Definitely a miss adventure but I would say as a California resident you should check out the island without your pup! It is beautiful! Thanks for the support and comment we really appreciate it! Yeah, I love Catalina and I'm an avid backpacker but I have a difficult time seeing the appeal of the TCT (in whole or in part). The elevation changes, lack of cover, and general uniformity of the terrain are drawbacks imo.

The rangers are great, they will be happy to help in a true emergency. This wasn’t that. There was a clear reason why they were less than sympathetic.
