What Artistry! Listening to you describe how you see a lure is like listening to a Musician and how they “see” their music! A million miles beyond my comprehension but I have huge Respect for Artists like you. Ok, Question: Should UltraViolet paints or UV Clear Coating make a difference?
In my humble opinion, they should only play a difference if you’re the type of angler that’s prone to leaving lures laying on the boat deck all day during the summer months. I know I’ve been guilty of doing it. But for my more high dollar lures I tend to keep them out of sunlight unless in use.
Hey Ian! ( Beekeeper/Franks) I'm curious if you have thought on the principle of purpose on the coloration of these fish? IDK fish, I only know bugs, but it seems to me that the top/bottom are camouflage and the red/purple are sex/maturity markings. Thus, would it not be practical to exploit the fish's interest in the territorial threat of a competitor to induce the strike, instead of calling the time sync'd stomach? I wonder if shimmering accents(silver splashes in the red) would raise aggression and cause more striking. Have you tried messing with the red banding?
If you have the trout you could try a small dab of fingernail polish remover on a small spot to see if it removes paint. If not you could always lightly sand it off with a fine grit sandpaper.
So many black dots 😁 Wow!! You did a great job!! Looks awesome😊

Are those ANTIFA colors intentional? Ben Miliken is proud of you.
So you paint pens for any of that? I’ve seen some using paint pens and was curious which ones to get.
No sir. Never really felt a need to use them.
Hey man how would you repaint this lure ? Like in my case just wanna change it up but have no clue on painting baits lol
