This plane is a true marvel of mechanical engineering because it is still operating after 25+ years of everyday flying. I don't know how do they do it without changing every part atleast twice.
:) in Iran because of unjustice sanctions which putted by US gov it is more than 40 years we could not to finance new airplanes and unfortunately we have to mantain old ones ... 25 years is nothing to us , Good luck
This kind of explains why tickets to fly cost as much as they do.... The complexity and skills required must be extremely expensive but safety demands it. So, so interesting to have these insights.
I maintain the engineers who design these aircraft and their various systems should be made to replace these types of parts. That way they can see what it's like for the real mechanics such as yourself, to replace these components. Perhaps then they would design things to that they are not so difficult to replace. Keep the content coming.
There so many high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic piping and connections along with electrical wiring, it’s amazing everything works for many decades in such a complicated system. It’s amazing
If you focus on the job it is not that hard and actually this is quite a spacious place. If you are in fuel tank that can be a bad place for claustrophobic person
Theres something awesome about you wearing a Fenixlight lamp while working on the A320, while a company, also called Fenix, models the exact plane in MSFS!
Thanks for giving us another great video really its helpful learning such tedious jobs. If you get a chance please make a video on a320 avionics ventilation system it's confusing With regards
i like the details you provide! and a question. why's the fan mandatory if the cabin is pressurized when in flight? or is necessary when the aircraft is grounded? shouldn't the air extract naturally?
I was wondering if you could create a video explaining how the infotainment system works, including the servers and distribution to the screens. It would be amazing if you could collaborate with Linus Tech Tips for this project or just yourself . Just a thought
hi zeto! ive also had worked with a320. i wondered, how is your way of replacing waste tank water saparator? because the last time i did was, i have to remove couple of seat in the cabin right above where the waste were located, and removed the floorboard. please show us your method thank you
hi, I have done this (shitty) replacement several times. You don't have to remove seats, floor panels e.t.c. Everything can be done from the aft cargo. Just open the partition panels and get inside. Sit adjacent to the waste tank and begin the removal of the separator. Most of the times, you don't have good access to remove it since the separator with filter is on the top of the tank but if you remove some screws from the tubes you can move them a little bit around to make some access for the removal of the separator. Cheers
You need to take look from different perspective. everything must be very compact and packed as much as possible. You don´t need to replace it that often. :-)
im with you rumble these will have to be changed a few times in a 25 year life span due to clogging up with debris / dust etc ridiculous amount of bother
so is the door on the outside is open in flight to vent the exhaust ? looks like it would create disruptive airflow round the rear of the aircraft all said not much but looks like a poor design to me
@Derekmorgan-s2j aha now I understand. Yes it helps actually to suck our out of galleys toilets and temperature sensors so you have always accurate temperature if everything works properly
@@zeto.r it was more of a joke than a serious comment. But it feels like planes are set to cold on the air cons. But I also assume it's to do with health and safety etc it removes moisture and microorganisms etc . Still feels freezing though :P
What a privilege it is to watch this amazing engineering.
This kind of comments keeps me working, thank you
Cool
that's an old A320 still EIS1 (CRT) love it. Love your videos Big Thumbs up
Become your fan of such videos..!!! As a pilot myself, I just love it… 😊😊

After watching this I needed a Tylenol for my knees and back. Good job young man,
Great videos, love watching them and they are always very interesting and a great insight of the inside workings of a aircraft 👍🏻
The space of this task is orrible, this kind of maintenance operation requires lot of patience and experience and you have both of this quality Zeto

Thank you for taking the time to capture the procedure while accomplishing such a tricky task! Reminds me of working on my BMW!

It works because it's maintained several times per year..
the only channel who explains the working of the aircraft bravo zeto
Another awesome video, very astounding, you're the best Zeto
You have skill, patience and a flexible body, nice work.👍
Thank you
Thank you for this useful presentation !
Glad it was helpful!

Awsome video Zeto!
You must not be claustrophobic to go in there during these long moments! Hats off for your resiliency.

Amazing breakdown of the system zeto.
Awesome video! Thanks for posting these.
Glad you like them!
Your patience is amazing.
Thanks 😅
I found your website today and I have to say thank you very much for all these interesting informations! Go on please👍🏼 Thanks! Bo 🇨🇭
Thank you! I always love to see here someone like you. 🙂
Very knowledgeable i am still in studying to be one u like some day soon God bless ❤
All the best to you
The way you do your explanations, just great.
And I love Austrian!
What a great combination!
It is a great airline, that's why I'm here 😊. I'm glad that you like it 🙂

Love ur content please continue do it 🎉🎉🎉
Please tell me the tital time it took for you to complete this repair? I think that info included in your videos wiuld be nice to have. Nice job!
Thank you for another awesome insight!

i like the details you provide! and a question. why's the fan mandatory if the cabin is pressurized when in flight? or is necessary when the aircraft is grounded? shouldn't the air extract naturally?
It is necessary to have stable and constant airflow if you change the speed it can change the value. That's why is fan mandatory
hi zeto how do you pressurise the cabin when you have ventilation to atmosphere thanks
Good job.Thank you
Thank you, it is my pleasure.
Thumbs up to call B2's for bonding check 😉 (we love it) 😘

Glad to hear that. Thank you very much 😊
thank you

That’s an interesting looking fan. Who makes it?
To be honest, I don't know
I just changed my high beam bulb in the car and I'm proud of myself
On some cars it is a pain it the ass. On old Renault, you should remove whole wheel

@@Aicarll imagine the fun in a 321. You barely fit inside :D
What about those "special" air purification filters we are being told are installed after covid?
There are recirculation HEPA filters but they always have been there
How many times approximately to perform this task?
wow that's a job
Yes it is
which camera you used during video recording mr Zero?
Mate, it is ZeTo 😀 and I'm using GoPro Max, Samsung Galaxy S23, and the latest one is DJI Osmo pocket 3

I also replace the fan there is no excess it was one of difficult job.
It is a very tide place, especially with cargo heating fan
I wonder that how much time did you spent on this task?
I would like to have Zeto in the Flight Simulator when my A320 breaks down.
There I can help you to pray 🤣🤣🤣 I can't really fix something that quick. Maybe reset, in that case steering reset by switch. That will reset BSCU😁
Is that what's controlled by the Cabin Fans PB in the cockpit?
Yes
@@lastnamefirstname520 so the cabin fans will have a direct impact on the cabin temp accuracy. Never thought of it that way.
What you don't see as a passenger when sipping on a nice wine ;-)
Exactly
Wow, that fan was not engineered to be easily replaced, was it!
They could have done a lot better on that.

@zeto.r justification for poorly planned engineering is tedious.
I am an engineer and that instalation was very poorly thought through.
🙂
If the outlet of the fan just has an Open end in the Air..how is cabin pressurization possible?🤔
There is an outflow valve it is used for the pressurisation of aircraft it adjusting position during flight
what kind of headphones are you using?
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 pro
jesus... must be a nightmare to loose the washer or the screw in the floor below you. Will be hard to located it again...
so is the door on the outside is open in flight to vent the exhaust ? looks like it would create disruptive airflow round the rear of the aircraft all said not much but looks like a poor design to me

Oh yes, the torture of that horrible Extract Fan smh
Impossible to work there without earphones
Every airline has temp set to Freezing lol
I'm not sure with whom you have been flying but pilots and flying attendants are there as well so do you think that they want to be cold?
