Great self love talk. Love what you said about embracing the new you not trying to be the same or old you. I’m also so extreme with my hair…haha! I just chopped to a bob, everyone loves it but I’m still getting used to it. It’s a little weird because I had this same cut probably 15 years ago, but I’m such a different person now it’s like I’m looking at another version of myself in the mirror!

What you mentioned about hyping your child up, but also having to do it for yourself resonates SO much. I'm a prime example of this. My Mom hyped me up my entire childhood (still does) which was amazing, however, when it came to herself, she was (& still is) always bashing herself & talking negative. Guess what I turned out like? Negative self-talk & super self-conscious of course, but I've been trying to make an effort to not talk myself down because I don't want my son to hear it. One of the many things older generations got wrong is thinking that kids don't see or hear all - biggest lie ever told.

This is hard because I’m trying to watch you apply your makeup, yet I’m distracted watching your little girl play with her chapstick in the back. It’s so cute!!! She reminds me of my daughter at that age. She’s 24, I didn’t have any more children because I knew I’d never top perfection 💕 Also, at 53 I can still relate to accepting your body where it’s at!
When I was a teenager even into my 30s I was thin. Now that “Aunt Flo” doesn’t visit me monthly anymore, I’m now in the clutches of menopause. Everything went right to my middle! I don’t care! I’m not going to fight it and compare myself to the 30 year old Janet anymore. She’s gone lol! I’m not even going to compare myself to the “fifty something” Hollywood actresses out there that still look like the bomb! Because I don’t have the means of a personal trainer and big bucks! I’m 53 living a great life and I’m going to own it!
This was one of the hardest videos to edit because I was only focused on her safety and even though I had a full view of her in the floor to ceiling mirror in front of me while I was filming.

Amazing video Silvia. I'm feeling the same thing about my skin. Unfortunately the sun wasn't so good to me so I have age spots. It's so hard to cover them. I can't use concealer anymore either. I would love to see you do a bob with blonde highlights throughout. I miss your hair videos. ❤

@@Ellebangs I found this video very heart warming with Millie in the back. It felt very natural like a friend speaking to me. You look great with or without make up. I have cooler undertones but will try this with the make up I have. For my face, less is more bc I look clownish with too much make up.
I think the lack of colorants and artificial flavorings in food in other countries is better for you. Your makeup is perfection. That little girl is soooo cute!
Hello my dear. First I want to thank you for my private hair session on Zoom like 3 years ago already - and I still use all of those notes and products. It's gotten me through the times I have struggled to pay the stylist for "me" and make me feel good in between those visits. Next - you look gorgeous. And you're right....I can't tell you how many times I've looked back at pictures of myself when I thought I was heavy and embarrassed, when I actually looked pretty darn good. I lost those moments of feeling good in my skin to feeling ashamed. There is not enough time in our lives to waste - enjoy the moments we have RIGHT NOW, because even this moment won't exist tomorrow. And that precious daughter deserves you. ALL of you. She'll never be ashamed of you or see the flaws that you see in yourself. Oh, and thanks for the tip on the Jones Road concealer. I'm ordering mine now.

I totally ordered the Jones road face stick because I am having the same under eye issues . So I was like “yes preach!!! “ can’t use shape tape either . I just wish you would mention shades . However- I know u don’t always do makeup on here so I understand . ❤
