    Yes the products that touch your skin are very important. Dead hair ends I don’t think it matters as long as it works. Shower water gets into skin and is huge problem for hair and skin and health in general

      That's absurd. Water doesn't get "into" your skin. If that were the case, people would literally drown when bathing or swimming. Why are y'all so dumb?

    Omg I just checked my Redken which I was told was superb for my damaged hair & there was the alcohol listed at the top of ingredients. Very disappointed. Thankyou for highlighting this 🙏

    I always look closely at the ingredients and googled them a lot down. So I would like to inform you on just some other very critical ingredients to watch out. ( I myself am in the medical system not a hairdresser) PROPYLENE GLYCOL on the long term: kidney and liver damage, FORMALDEHYD also mentioned as:• Quanternium-15, • DMDM Hydantoin, • Diazolidinyl Urea, , Sodium Hydroxymethyl Glycinate, • 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (Bromopol) are carcinogenic ; SLS (SODIUM LAURETH/LAURYL SULFATE) can cause damage to the heart, liver, eyes (cataracts) and brain; DEA / TEA (DIETHANOLAMIN / TEA (TRIETHANOLAMIN) It is one of the strongest carcinogenic substances and is also suspected of causing permanent damage to the liver and kidneys

    My hair got so much better since I just use the Leave-In-Milk from Drunk Elephant and the Pomelo Vanilla Elixir after washing. Don't get me started how much money I wasted on salon priced products which dried my hair out or did nothing for it :/

    What can you suggest to use for frizzy, dry, hair?
    Silicones do help aesthetically, and I do not want to rock frizzy tresses.
    Please suggest an alternative affordable product.
    There has to be something out there, to use now, aside from waiting to learn what you plan on marketing.
    Please help! So many of us trust you and now it feels as though we are being encouraged to refrain from using anything but your products, when they come out. I'm fearful that your products will be wildly expensive.
    Thank you for the information.
    So excited about your product line!
    Hopefully it will be affordable for all!
    Congrats

    I dont really agree with anything in this video. Haircare chemists and trichologists online says the opposite. Also, why would a chemist put 'harmful' ingredients in products? Sulfates clean your scalp, unless you have some skin condition and your dermatologist says specifically to avoid them, its important to have a clean scalp.
    Silicones coat your hair and protects it from wear and tear. It adds slip which is great and decrease damage. It also makes your hair shiny and soft. Why wouldnt you wanna use it? You wash it off with a schampoo with sulfates = build-up wont happen.
    Parabens used in haircare is used in such a low dose and by no means causing hormonal changes or cancer. We should just trust the real chemists putting their hard work in products and science instead of doubting them.

      @tripppytea ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree with you and it’s refreshing to see this opinion. She is a wonderful stylist but this video seems like a a lot of fear mongering that isn’t actually rooted in evidence-based research and chemistry. It gives “if you can’t pronounce the ingredient then it’s automatically bad” vibes. If there are actual scientific sources behind the claims in this video I would love to see them and be proven wrong!

    • @SannaNaumanen
      @SannaNaumanen ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@tripppytea Yes! I really like her different videos about hair. But she should put scientific proof (like Abbey Yung does) so people can see and read for themselves!

      You also have to think about that often there is a pressure by companies to create a “magic” solution for our “want nice hair now” generation. They may leave harmful ingredients is small doses like many medicines do these days. They help one area but may affect another. Just food for thought.

    • @Ellebangs
      @Ellebangs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, I would consider a hair glaze or using a toning shampoo every time or every other time. Your hair could be very porous and taking in too many minerals from the water, so filling the hair with something else could help with that.
