"Approximately a decuple of three hundred sixty five sidereal days thou spent inside a pandemonium built to contain highly dangerous individuals in an attempt to reform them unto society has left thou frail and weak!"
This is such a sick take on a potential Nishikiyama boss theme. As much as I love all the official Nishiki themes, this feels like it emphasises the emotional, tragic nature of the fight in Kiwami a lot more. It gives me vibes more akin to recent final boss music in the series, like if they had made the first game's story today. Also 'Millenium Sunflower' is a great name for the track.
@@AlpineEscape Completely agree with you on Ishin's version, absolutely my favourite arrangement of his theme. Also I must have forgotten to check the description cause I had no clue it wasn't originally for Nishiki. I'm not sure if this was intentional but the section from 0:57 to 1:30 kinda made it feel nostalgic which fits the whole "bros since they were kids" story, dunno if that's just me though. (I dunno a thing about music so I'm not gonna even risk embarrassing myself by mentioning specific instruments and sounds xd)
Haha no worries! I wrote that section more to play up the Christmas theme (particularly the glockenspiel and sleigh bells) but since Christmas is a very introspective time, it does in turn play up the history that gives the fight so much weight :)
*Defeat Nishiki*
"Santa's not getting coal for us this year."
This feels like a rematch boss fight if Nishiki was still alive, in Infinite Wealth
“Brothers now enemies.”
“The cruelty of destiny”
Santa Claus fighting to save the Jolly Clan from his former kyodai Krampus
"Approximately a decuple of three hundred sixty five sidereal days thou spent inside a pandemonium built to contain highly dangerous individuals in an attempt to reform them unto society has left thou frail and weak!"
sounds like a remix of kiwami's credits theme
Wow, I really hear that now actually. I don't think I've heard it in full before but I've gotta cover that this year :)
Bro, this is really cool. The Christmas feeling gives it a unique touch and the emotional charge of the moment is complemented by the song. Good job!
Something I'm curious about would be a theme for Aizawa made by you.
Thank you so much! I'll get to Aizawa eventually :)
