there is literally no one with a more impressive resume than Soyeon. I can't imagine someone learning about her and NOT immediately developing insane amounts of respect for who and what she is

I've watched so many kpop groups but gidle hits different. Their discography is very diverse, they are unpredictable and even if they release a song that's not my style, it still leaves an impact on me. They are not just singers but full fledged entertainers. All of their variety shows are hilarious and the members have so much personalities of their own. It's a very diverse group but with a great teamwork. They have so much crackhead energy and their fandom Neverland is no different. I have been following them since their debut and it's been a great journey watching them grow, overcome obstacles, build inside jokes and such. In addition to variety shows that they appeared as a group, I recommend you check members solo appearences too. Such as Yuqi's Learn Way, Shuhua's Workdol, Hyemileeyechaepa with Miyeon etc. There is just too much to cover about their personalities and relationships with each other, no guide could do a good job. I hope you enjoy your journey.

If you want to watch a "guide" about their history as a group (up until just before losing Soojin in 2021/22) then "The rise of (G)I-dle" is excellent. It includes a lot of "Queendom" stuff and spoilers for many pre-2022 songs, so maybe check out those MV's first?
And this is why Idle is a driving force in K-pop. No one has a member roster or leader Like Idle does. Yuqi is my bias, but Minnie is my bias wrecker. Minnie is THE Siren of K-pop. And yes, they are ALL crackheads, lol.
I wish the guide was more thorough and didn't skip Soojin. Even though shes no longer part of the group, shes an important part of their history. Soyeon is also more than just their producer/songwriter. Shes basically in charge of everything GIDLE. Before debut, CUBE was broke so Soyeon took it upon herself to write and produce latata. She and soojin helped with the choreo and filmed it on a shoestring budget in an abandoned warehouse. These days she has complete creative freedom, lifting up her label from the ashes and cementing GIDLE as a powerhouse in the industry.
Yeah it would have been nice to get a sense of her personality as well. Soyeon’s pretty incredible, I have crazy respect for someone who can do all that.

Soojin was actually the main dancer of the group but she left and there’s no official announcement saying yuqi is the main dancer but personally I think IDLE is a group of vocalists with not bad dance skills (Soyeon can be all rounder
their dance skills don't show much in their group choreos but if you watch their solo dancing stuff like dance challenges or dance practices they have amazing dancing skills and very underrated especially yuqi and soyeon..
Soyeon was a Mentor on My teenage Girl and Fantasy Boys, the boys were her team who performed "Spaceman" which was a Soyeon Original song for the Series. I Highly recommend checking out Fantasy Boys, It's Hilarious. Soyeon now also has her own Cooking show, currently has 2 episodes, releases every Wednesday. Check out their Vlog series I-Talk too. All the members have had their own Variety shows
My bias is Shuhua and Miyeon I hope you like all the members They put so much work into producing songs and all that After they lost a member it was hard for them to move on especially Shuhua Shuhua loved Soojin so much but then she left but Shuhua got stronger and she improved in her Korean
Now that I'm done watching the video, I definitely made the best decision to introduce myself to the world of Gidle. By the way, out of everything they only got one thing wrong, Soyeon is Intp not intj. ❤
