Anyone from the Uk got a solar guitar? What were import duties and taxes like? I really want one but not prepared to pay well over the odds just to get it here 😕

If you buy it from Thomann the import duties are included in the price. Direct from Solar you'll pay import duty and VAT, which is about 23% of the total cost, so if the guitar cost £1000 you'll pay £230 in fees.
I just worked out for this exact guitar at €1099 you'll pay £182 in fees. Not terrible.
