If we don't release tendons after stressing and grouting then how the compressive stresses get transfered in the precast member? Plz anyOne
It should be released other wise the stressed tendons remain in tension and cause a direct collapse of the bridge under service working loads

You place one segment on a pier you then place one segment either side of the first then stress all three together , you then place another two on the ends and stress all five together , etc etc etc
So many on site safety never take care of...
